The location and the house were lovely and I think if we had come in the summer it would have been perfect. The house was a good size, it had a very well stocked kitchen and plenty of light flooding in. The beds were comfortable and the heating worked well in the bedrooms, the terrace was a lovely space to sit out and look at the lovely views. The garden was beautiful on lots of different levels and had plenty of fruit trees. The area is very quiet and peaceful but if you need anything you have to walk or drive to La Caleta or Salobrena, but we knew this when we booked. Tania, who greeted us was easy to communicate with and came to meet up even though there was a lock box
For the first day we didn't have any hot water upstairs until we worked out that the boiler, which was outside, hadn't been plugged in. It was rather unfortunate that we had a few days of heavy rain and so the heating/aircon stopped working in the lounge/kitchen because water had got in the unit, it also made the front door difficult to open and the back door had a broken handle so that was also very difficult to open and needs fixing. If you have any dogs, the garden is great and they loved running up and down the different levels but they can get into the neighbours garden at the top of the garden so would be good if a little fence was put up there. We also had to put up with a leak in the lounge ceiling. I know all these things wouldn't happen in the summer but it did detract a bit from our enjoyment of the place

The pillows should be made of natural down, the bedding finer, and the air refreshed more often.
