Collecting the keys was straightforward - the agency office was easy to reach and we received clear instructions on finding the property and our parking spot. The team also gave us helpful tips on beaches, local sights and where to find the best ice cream, which we really appreciated. The apartment is in a quiet residential area, yet close enough to everything - restaurants are a 5-minute walk, the beach around 10 minutes. There's a well-stocked shop nearby, plenty of dining options and great ice cream shops. A highlight was the restaurant directly across the street with a pool, to which we had free access - our kids absolutely loved their morning swims there. The quietness of the location proved to be a real asset. There were several beach events with loud music during our stay - fun to visit, but we were glad not to be sleeping next to them with young children. The kitchen is compact but well equipped with pots, pans, plates, a moka pot and a gas stove. The balcony was a welcome bonus, complete with a clothes hanger - perfect for drying swimming gear.

The location of the agency office wasn't communicated in advance - I had to call upon arrival to get the address. A small thing, and partly my own fault for not asking beforehand. The apartment appeared to be the first rental of the season after a winter break - it was slightly musty on arrival and needed a quick sweep and some dishes washed before we settled in. Only one of the four gas hob burners was working, which made cooking a little awkward at times. The shower tray has a crack on one side, so water would easily overflow if you weren't careful. It's manageable once you knew about it, but worth fixing for future visits.
