    Amyth is in a quiet neighborhood away from the party scenes of Mykonos. This is the reason I chose it. The interior spaces are carefully designed in a relaxed bohemian decor. The staff is friendly and the room well equipped, including a bed more comfortable than anything I thought possible. The only negatives: 1) it is not easy to reach anything outside the hotel on foot due to its location off a narrow, winding road without a sidewalk. This problem was offset somewhat by the proximity to a very good taverna (Lemnios). 2) The music at the pool could be overly loud and unchanging - usually a dance genre that did not fit the quiet scene. In a different location I think the hotel would shine.
