Fijn en comfortabel huis met een mooi terras en tuin. Goed uitgerust met vaatwasser en wasmachine. Het huis ligt op een heuvel met een steile toegangsweg. Het laatste stukje moet je lopen, dus niet voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. We waren iets te ver doorgereden en moesten achteruit de steile helling af. Gelukkig zag de eigenaar dit en heeft hij ons aanwijzingen gegeven waar wij konden parkeren. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst.

The house had one of the best views we ever enjoyed in Greece. It is located in a calm surrounding, on a green and steep slope. You have to be rather agile to reach the house, on stais, but the effort is rewarded by the sea view and by the splendid little garden. The house is confortabile, you get all the things you need. The laundry washing machine is a big plus. We met the father of the host, a very nice and helpful person.

The bathroom is tiny. Internet works slowly. Still, if you go there, such details count little. What really counts is the peaceful living and the chance to have your morning coffee while enjoying a wide horizon over the Aegean.

A little far from the beach

The house was really clean and comfortable and had everything you'd need. There were mosquito guards on all the windows and doors which was really good. The seating area outside the kitchen was great for morning coffees and the small garden with sunbeds and an umbrella was nice.

The drive up to the property was a bit scary! A narrow road next to a ravine with a dodgy concrete bridge not much wider than the car to go over. Parking was at a neighbouring house where they have a flat concrete driveway. Then a walk up to the house, which was a bit treacherous, not helped by the moss outside the neighbours house and the lawnmower they left on the steps. One of us slipped a few times on the way down even in walking boots, it wasn't a good entrance to what is a nice property. The barking dog at the property next to the steps ruined the start of our stay, as soon as we walked past the house or went on the terrace it started barking and wouldn't stop. We contacted the owner who spoke to the neighbour, which did improve things (they put the dog inside a bit) but it didn't stop completely. We were trying not to make any noise when we went outside in case we set the dog off barking again. We ended up cutting our stay short by 2 days as we weren't enjoying it. Such a shame as this was not the owners fault and they did try to resolve it. The wi-fi was not reliable and we couldn't get the TV to work. The bed was small and not very comfy.
