So many great things to like here as it is close to the lake which you can see from the resort parking lot. The location was very quiet & the property beautifully landscaped with large trees. The property has a pool in the resort building where the condo is located & another pool near the private beach & dock. The location of the condo was ideal as it is within view of many conveniences. For example, Whole Foods grocery was across the street. Safeway grocery store is walkable at about 4/10 of a mile away & good for stocking up to use the kitchen. The CVS is 2 doors away on the same side of the street & right next to the most affordable tourist store to buy souvenirs. Heavenly Resort is about 1.5 miles away & walkable with good weather. There is a great bike & walking path that runs from Stateside (NV/CA) boarder that is also about 1.8 miles away & goes right past the condo property. There are many restaurants & shops nearby. This condo sits within less than a half mile between 2 different marinas for booking a boat trip. This condo was stocked with everything we needed. The owner, Mark, was easy to contact before & during our stay which was great.

Some things at the resort were not included (ex. Shuttle to Heavenly about 1.5 miles away) because this unit along with about half the units on the resort property are privately owned by individuals versus owned by the resort. There was some confusion over what was & was not included. The weather was nice so we just walked to Heavenly Resort instead. There was no option to buy a ticket for the shuttle for the privately owned units because we did ask the resort receptionist. It was disclosed to us about a week before our trip the building we were staying in was having construction (residing the wood planks on the entire building). We were gone all day most of the day so it didn’t bother us with any noise but I couldn’t take some photos I wanted since the building was all wrapped in yellow plastic. We thankfully didn’t bring a vehicle, but if you are bringing a vehicle - good luck with the parking as we noticed it filled up fast whether it was a weekday or weekend.

The location is perfect but we found some issues after we arrived.

The unit was part of the lodge which was being remodeled. The stairs were difficult to climb with a bad knee. We had to go to garage elevator to avoid stairs. We also realized how booking.com has much higher prices than if we had reserved with the Lakeland resort directly.
