Marburg Apartment feuriger Felix mit Kamin und Garten in ruhiger Waldrandlage

Quiet location, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, fancy light fittings. The cool interior was most welcome, given the heat outside. Part of the patio was nice and shady. Very good WiFi Good to have metal roller blinds. The interior was was very spacious (and a lot of walking was needed from kitchen to bathroom.) One evening, due to the front door blowing shut with the wind, and not having the only key with me, I had to call the landlord, who kindly provided me with details of how to find another key, in the flats upstairs. Good that I had my phone outside. This is not really a practical type of door lock system for this place. A note to this effect, to warn of this possibility would be useful for other customers. Also good that the landlord did not have to travel an hour to rescue us!!

STEPS!! no mention in the advert, of the 14 stone steps that led up to the 'ground floor' apartment. Nor a photo of the front of the house, so that this could be seen before booking. Not good for people with walking difficulties....ME! Patio had an umbrella base, but no umbrella, nor the BBQ that was listed. Scruffy furniture and plastic flowers! A very unique style of decor was visible throughout the apartment, with a lot of rough surfaces, and wood chip covered in murals!! The oven tray didn't fit in the oven and there was an overload of crockery in the cupboards.....120+ The hob extractor fan had some dubious electrical fitting, with a long trailing wire. Some sockets did not work. The bathroom was small and difficult to use, the mirror was the only light source. A very uncomfortable sofa in the lounge, which was also the bed for a third person (only 2 of us ) We never felt at home here, and 5 nights was too long.

Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig, schön eingerichtet, hell, sehr sauber und liegt sehr ruhig im Ortsteil Marburg-Cappel. Parkplätze findet man an der Straße ausreichend. Zur Innenstadt von Marburg oder zu Einkaufszentren fährt man mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten. Man hat eine große Küche mit Esstisch und vier Stühlen (und einem Holzofen - herrlich im Winter). Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet, uns hat nur eine Mikrowelle gefehlt. Das Wohnzimmer ist groß mit Couch, Tisch und TV, das Schlafzimmer hat Doppelbett, Schrank und Kommode. Das Bad ist klein mit ebenerdiger Dusche, WC und Waschbecken. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet mit interessanten/hübschen Details. Alle Zimmer haben Fenster, dadurch ist die Wohnung schön hell. Es gibt auch eine große Terrasse. Zur Wohnung muss man einige Stufen hochgehen.

Fully furnished apartment with everything you might need for either short or long term stay. Kitchen is fully equipped, with 3 types of coffee makers, cutlery etc. Comfortable double bed. In very quiet corner, opposite the woods, with parking option.

Die ruhige waldrandlage war sehr gut, Alles war sauber und ordentlich ; Kommunikation mit Vermieter:innen war gut und schnell. Es gibt viel Platz. Allerdings ist die wandgestaltung , der 2 Räume und der Küche ( in einem Raum gibt es 3 unterschiedliche Tapeten und/ oder steinmauern ) Zuviel des Guten. Da wäre weniger mehr. Insgesamt gab es 4-5 Bügel, dass ist leider auch zuwenig, bei 3-4 Schlafplätzen.

Bettdecken/ Inlays und Bettlaken leider alles aus Polyesterstoff, sehr schweißtreibend bei hohen Temperaturen; Kopfkissen viel zu dick und auch aus Polyesterstoff. Der Spiegel im Bad ist viel zu hoch montiert, ich konnte mich nicht anschauen, ich bin 1.63 groß. Ein no Go.
