The location of the property, the host was very thoughtful with the small details. The property was clean and well equipped.

We liked the top floor terrace and the location is perfect for visiting the archeological ruins (12 mins walk). Having a nearby parking space was ideal for us (4 mins walk). The shower room was great. Having a washing machine for us was very helpful.
There was nowhere comfortable to sit. Not possible to relax and no chairs which were comfortable. The loungers on the terrace were completely broken. Although we loved the ruins and it was ideal for visiting Herculaneum (the station is just 5 minutes walk and the train to Herculaneum is direct and only takes about 35 mins) we were really disappointed in Pompeii. The area is really not nice and it is the noisiest place I have ever stayed. It is very close to a main road and there is constant beeping of car horns. There is a lot of development in neighbouring properties and the building noise is just too much. Impossible to relax in anyway.
I think the property is ideal for up to 4 people. I think 6 people would struggle. It would be nice if the table and chairs on the terrace were larger to accommodate more people. The property smelt very damp.

Maria had thought of everything, we arrived late when no shops open but she had provided water, fruit juices and fizzy drinks . She also provided croissants etc for our breakfast. Very friendly and easy to contact. The location was within walking distance of shops, restaurants and train station and Pompeii ruins.
