Wonderful location, roomy apartment and very friendly helpful hostess. Breakfasts were huge and gorgeous. The owner has a restaurant next door which serves fabulous pizzas, steak and pasta.

Alles was top. Heel vriendelijke eigenaars, behulpzaam. Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt en 2 x toch wat anders. De derde ochtend moesten we vroeg vertrekken naar de luchthaven maar we kregen de avond voordien een fles fruitsap mee naar het appartement en als we wilden zelfs ook brood en confituur of ander beleg. Het restaurant dat ze ook hebben was ook top.
Alles ok, geen opmerkingen.

Our apartment (first floor) was really big for 2 people, it can host another 2 children (a separate room with a bunk bed up to 10-11 years old). There are 2 bathrooms, one was quite small, but it was extra anyway. There is even a small terrace we could use.
Location is perfect for the ruins, 5 minutes walk (did you know that entry is free on the first Sunday of each month?). Close to restaurants and bars. When you approach, look for the Maradona mural, the house is on the other side of the road.
Breakfast is in the owner's restaurant, on top of the standard menu (coffee/tea, bread, ham, cheese, jam, etc), we usually got leftovers from the previous day - it was so good, having tiramisu, pizza, salads. We stayed for 4 nights and had dinner 3 times in the restaurant (it is closed on Mondays) - try the starter with the aubergine. Kitchen is well-equipped, we only missed one more pan cover.
Parking is inside, behind a gate. It might be busy, but the hosts help navigate in and out.
Bedroom is spacious, bed is comfy.
You can hear the street noise a little, but it is the cost of being close to all the services in the city centre. It did not disturb our sleep.
Showers could be a little bigger.

The location of the apartment is great, only about a 10 minute walk from the amphitheatre entrance of the Pompeii archeological site. The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple, but good and always delivered to the door at the time we requested. The layout of the apartment is good, including a separate kids room with bunk beds, and had everything we needed. The roof terrace is nice in good weather. The kitchen doesn't have a stove or dishwasher, but everything else, including a microwave and some essentials like salt, pepper, olive oil, tea bags, coffee, sugar, etc.
The apartment is probably better suited for the summer. We were staying there in November and it seemed a bit chilly with cold tiled floors and a draft due to the windows not closing well. There is air conditioning, but no proper heating. The water in the shower alternated between hot and cold. There was a baby bed available, but no high chair.
