Wonderful Family Atmosphere and Delicious Homemade Breakfast!

We had an amazing experience! The place has a fantastic atmosphere and a very family-friendly vibe. It's a family-owned business, and the owners are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and speak English fluently. They are also very flexible and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade products that you can tell are made with love. You can really feel that the whole place is run with passion, not just for profit. We highly recommend it to everyone!

Divni domaćini, nasmijani, komunikativni, sve pohvale za njih. Teta Mirina hrana i cika Veljina rakija nas je odusevila :) Brvnara u kojoj smo bili je divna, sa prelijepim pogledom. Sam kraj je odmor za dušu i oči! Rado ćemo se Šaponjićima vratiti u goste.

An amazing place that truly is a getaway while not taking you too far off the beaten path.

The place feels remote even though it's just an hour away from the main road. You can get peace and quiet within nature with a very kind and giving family that treats you like one. The mother cooks the food, the father serves it and entertains and the son manages the whole thing. There are also two dogs on the property (Moni and Nika) that are just too nice (although they didn't take kindly to seeing my drone fly). All in all an amazing stay and my only wish is that we could've stayed for a longer time.

We stayed only for a short time. You could detox and enjoy the place for at least 3 days. :)

Uvac - Summer 2022

I don't know where to start! I loved everything about this place! It is so magical and unique to anywhere I have stayed before. The cabin was so cosy, clean, comfortable and warm. The untouched nature surrounding the entire town was priceless! The hosts were very welcoming from the moment we got out of the car, throughout our entire stay - It felt like I have known them my whole life! There are a few lookouts around of Uvac lake that are absolutely mesmerising and breathtaking ♥️ Will definitely visit again next year 🥰

Superb

The hosts are a very friendly and welcoming family. The property is located just above the lake, right in the nature, outside the village, about 15km from Nova Varoš. Very peaceful, very quiet. Our kids loved playing there and feeding the chicken. We also enjoyed home-made dinner and breakfast served by the hosts.

Perfect location and very kind and helpful hosts

Clean comfortable and everything you needed. The owner could not have been more helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was outstanding. Hosts all homemade products with choices of pancakes, cheese, sour cream, jam, and much more, serve breakfast. There was also a fresh cake, water, juice, and coffee. Even we were able to enjoy a lunch, even it is not a usual thing, because with booking there is an option for the breakfast but not lunch. The location is great and the house had a nice view over the lake. We had a lot of fun and we will remember our holiday for a long time. We highly recommend Log Cabin Uvac and family Saponjic as hosts. They were very helpful and informative. We would have liked to stay for longer so we shall probably come back at some point.

Relaxing stay in the most beautiful place

This has to be one of the most wonderful places we have ever visited! The location is perfect. Everywhere you look, there is a stunning view! It's quiet and incredibly peaceful. Everything seems to be arranged in a way that you feel as comfortable as possible. Mira and Veljo are the best hosts you can imagine - warm, friendly and yet not intrusive. Mira prepares the most delicious food and Veljo knows everything there is to know about the area and it's possibilities. They feel like an instant family! :)

It's was a magical cabin on the uvac lake. It's located off road, though u do not have problem. To reach by regular small car. There is no tourists around u. U have magical experience with really wonderful and super welcoming serbian family. Everything is designed like in serbian village museum. So photogenic.. The house us consists of 2 rooms each one with 4 beds and toilet and hot water shower. A guest room is upstairs. U are totally by yourself and the family is leaving in the house near by. They are super welcoming 😍😍😍. There is although view points that u can reach in a minutes by foot... Totally recommended!!!

Awesome hosts, location, food is amazing! Surrounding and yard is beautiful.

Cabin has separate rooms and you need to go outside (not so good during cold weather) when going into community/play room which is upstairs. As well, two rooms do not connect indoors. I would suggest more of entertaining areas, especially when the weather doesn’t provide going on hiking trips and cruising the river.

Herzliches Willkommen an wunderschönem Ort

Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Bereits bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, uns wurden verschiedene Speisen und Getränke angeboten. Sowas erlebt man heutzutage eigentlich nicht mehr. Man bot uns ebenfalls an, an den darauffolgenden Tagen Speisen unserer Wahl zu kochen. Aufgrund des kurzen Trips konnten wir leider nicht darauf eingehen, aber durch die Snacks, die wir bei der Ankunft und auch bei der Abreise erhielten bin ich sicher, es hätte super geschmeckt. Die Unterkunft war in sehr gutem Zustand, die Betten waren bequem, es mangelte nicht an Platz. Die Gastgeber erkundigten sich auch nach unserem Wohl, fragten ob es an etwas fehlt oder sie es uns noch angenehmer machen könnten. Bei der Abreise erhielten wir sogar noch ein Geschenk. Wir machen regelmäßig Kurztrips und Urlaube, so ein herzliches Willkommen haben wir jedoch noch nicht erlebt. Die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber sind definitiv weiterzuempfehlen.

Das Wetter hätte etwas besser sein können 😉
