The location is in a cute residential neighborhood and close to Nakano shopping/restaurants. It is about a 15minute walk to the station, and we experienced some rainy days, so that distance was not ideal. The size of the apartment was nice for the price.

Unfortunately, when we first entered the property we noticed a body odor smell coming from the living room area. It was bad to the point that my wife wouldn't use that room, which made the apartment less of a good value for us. The bathroom was also mildew-y smelling. The manager was responsive and apologetic through messages, and offered to clean the bathroom and apartment to help with the smell. The bathroom smell was resolved, but the body odor from the living room was not. I assume it was maybe a smell from a past guest or maybe a downstairs neighbor.
