Gem of Hundested - great place to stay and experience north coast of Denmark

This place is a perfect choice to stay if you're travelling around North Sealand. The location is great - close to the supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants as well as to the hiking paths and harbour (possible to cross Isefjord on a ferry and explore the opposite side of the island). Really good location and proximity to the public transport - train (to Hillerød, Copenhagen and others), buses and ferries. The apartment is really spacious, clean, and flooded with the sun in the daytime. The layout is very functional and thoughtfully designed, with high-quality materials and very well cared of. It is obvious from first glance that the owners really care about their property and guests. Lærke and Niels are super hosts, friendly, respectful, helpful and very professional. My partner and I felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay there. They also recommended us an alternative cycling route to get to our next destination which turned out to be very beautiful and picturesque and made our experience even better. I can only recommend! Thank you and hopefully till next time!

Place to be visited and lived multiple times :)

Immediately on arrival host was present with the keys, i did not had any problem checking in a bit earlier too. Clean and well organized living room with well prepared beds and clean covers and pillows. Big, well organized kitchen with all you need for cooking smaller and big meals. Hygienic and clean shower and toilet with extra towels. Will definitely visit again next year.

Lovely place, lovely people! 10/10 !!!

1. The entire house was really clean. Including the bathroom and the kitchen that were high standard. 2. It was a fully equipped house with all machines you could ever need. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, electric grill, electric kettle, pans, glasses and kitchen utensils... 3. Possibility to do laundry in the basement. 4. As I travelled alone I could choose any of the 6 beds in the house. 5. The owners are super nice and very helpful!

Very minor thing that can be avoided with a little bit of thinking ahead (and is not related to the owners or the house itself): Busses that stop nearby are driving by only once every hour. If you don't have a car you will have to walk to the Hundested Train Station for about 13 minutes (1km). Or you could be smarter than me and rent a bike ;)

A great place to stay in north Zealand.

This property is a whole good-sized house! There is a large lounge/dining room with bedroom off one side, as well as the upstairs (which is set up for children to sleep in). The bedroom had a large comfortable bed and the property had good heating. The kitchen was fully-equipped with appliances, cooking utensils, crockery, and eating utensils. The bathroom was also good, with a good shower (and fluffy towels). The Wifi was very fast (200Mbit/sec). The centre of Hundested is about 10 minutes' walk away, with restaurants and shops (and the ferry to Rørvig or the train towards Hillerød and Copenhagen). Car parking is available in a carport along the road by the side of the property. The proprietors (Niels & Lærke) met us on arrival and were very friendly and helpful.

A comfortable place with very friendly hosts.

Our hosts' friendliness and helpfulness really made it for us. The house is very well kept and has everything you need for a comfortable stay with accessible off road parking. It's very close to the sea and local shops. A lovely place to stay.

Ein sehr schönes bequemes Ferienhaus, schön warm und sauber. Die Vermieter wohnen gleich nebenan. Sogar unser Elektroauto konnten wir laden. Es war alles super.

Så overraskende dejlig, landlig og helsende - med masser af komfort.

Det er et helt fantastisk sted - dejligt med høns gående i en ret vild have - skønt. Og masser af plads. Ingen tv - heldigvis. Jeg havde egen lille transistor radio med, synes jeg manglede at kunne fange noget klassisk, noget P1 måske.............det kunne jeg ikke helt forstå. Men kunne rigtig gerne bruge et gensyn. ;-)

Bliver nødt til at skuffe. Der var ingen, overhovedet ingen ting eller noget vi ikke kunne lide.......... jeg gemte kælder nøglen når vi gik i seng, min kæreste kan gå i søvne, han var bange for kældertrappen.........det er jo ikke husets skyld.
