About this cottage rental
A large, sunny terrace sits at the heart of the property and naturally becomes the gathering place during summer—perfect for slow mornings, long meals, and relaxing afternoons in the sun.
Inside the house, there is a bedroom with a comfortable 140 × 200 cm bed as well as an additional 90 × 200 cm bed. The cozy annex provides another 140 × 200 cm bed, ideal for guests who enjoy a bit of privacy. The house also features a small but well-functioning bathroom with a shower, along with utility room equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
Just 150 meters from the house, you’ll find easy access to the water and a small bulwark with dinghies—a peaceful spot to enjoy quiet moments and beautiful sunsets overlooking the opposite coastline.
Only a short 900-meter walk away is a lively, well-kept beach next to Kulhuse Harbour. From here, the Kulhuse ferry connects you to Sølager and onward to places such as Hundested and the North Coast, making it easy to explore the area.
Surrounded by nature, the nearby Nordskoven forest stretches from Jægerspris all the way to Kulhuse and is one of Denmark’s largest forests. It’s home to three ancient oak trees, including one believed to date back to the year 0. Daily essentials can be picked up at the local grocer, and on weekends you can visit the fishmonger nearby. Kulhuse Harbour and beach also offer a cozy pizzeria and an ice cream shop, and now and then you’ll discover charming pop-up stalls selling freshly baked bread and good coffee.
