WONDERFUL Beach Apartment in Paradise

Mooi appartement. Fijn om direct naar het privé strand te kunnen.

Ligging is te achteraf om bijvoorbeeld ‘s ochtends eerst even verse broodjes te kopen.

Everything was excellent. From tidy rooms to all necessary kitchen supplies like oil and salt.

There was small problem with gate opening one evening. But it got quickly resolved. Communication with owner was fast and easy.

Location, location and once more location. If you book here you may understand what I mean. The isolated building on top of what was the best beach we had during our month trip around Tenerife. The building was build in 1968-1972. The idea by architect Luis Cabrera was to create self-sufficient building-city with shops and common areas but it did not work out and now it is an isolated apartments complex where you can enjoy the specifics of the place. While the complex is old the apartment is renovated. Located on the last floor just under the parking which is on the roof. However you won't feel not the heat nor the cars above you as it is isolated well. There is a retractable sun shade you can open for the mid-day hours. Hawing two full bathrooms with two bedrooms is a great bonus. You park, then go one level down by stairs or take the elevator - you also can use it to get to the beach. There is community space on the sea level with chairs, tables that you can use, however the black sand beach is public (as they all are) so take your towel or beach chair. Master bedroom is air conditioned. Internet works well - I had no issues to work remotely.

Well, it IS an isolated location. Even as I can imagine someone coming there using public transport (there is a stop up on the hill and you can walk around 800m) - that is definitely not practical. And the closest shop may be in 5km away, but I think you would do shopping in Santa Cruz - so seems like car is a must. We rented a car specifically to stay there (and do some travel around of course). The second bedroom only small window is to corridor - it can have some air, but no daylight.
