About this house rental
Please Note - 7 day / Saturday to Saturday rentals from June through August
Rates include cleaning fee. Rates do NOT include access to Clubhouse/Pool; it is optional and is paid on own at the clubhouse.

This a family home in perfect condition that we rent for 10 weeks each year. VRBO will only allow reviews if they have received the rental commission. Because of this, we don't many reviews listed since we rent direct. I am happy to give you names of past renters if you would like a first hand review.
The house is GORGEOUS! HUGE 3,100 sq ft. Beautiful 4 bdrm, 3.5 bath carriage home in the private & quiet community of Bayside at Bethany. Many of the other townhomes in this community are much smaller.
Located 1.7 miles from the beach via Fred Hudson Road - by car or by the bike bath that runs along road (we always ride our bikes to beach). Great property with all upgrades backing to pond. Community has private pool (indoor and outdoor), gym and two areas for bay access for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding. If you have a boat, you can use an area ramp (outside of community) and tie up for the day at the community pier.
Great restaurants nearby. James Farm state park is great for the kids.(1.3 mi with parking) Playground located one block from house on our street.
Fee to use the clubhouse and pool is $325 per week for family. Use of tennis courts does not require fee. No Smoking/No Pets/Strict 8-10 person max occupancy. You will have to provide a copy of your rental agreement at clubhouse and you will be issued key FOB for entry. Cleaning service that has been hired will be following all Delaware guidelines (re: Covid19). Keyless locks have been installed so there will no person to person interaction necessary for entry.
Entertainment – There are 6 flat screen TV’s in house; one in each bedroom and one in each of the 2 first floor living rooms.
The two car garage provides ample safe storage for beach stuff / bikes.
The community is ideally located close to numerous activities:

- James Farm Ecological Preserve - trails to Indian River Bay 0.5 miles
- Fresh Ponds State Park - walking / bike trails 0.25 miles
- Assawoman Canal Trail - walking / bike trails 0.25 miles

There are two hard courts located next to the clubhouse. Pickelball can be played on one of the courts.

Loved the house! It was a great location for us, close to Bethany and Tower Beaches. House was exactly as pictured, very relaxing and my family enjoyed the fact that there were beach chairs, boogie boards and a wagon for use.

We had a fantastic stay at this beach house! It was very spacious and fit our large family comfortably with room to relax and spread out. The home was super clean, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable—it truly felt like a home away from home.The location was amazing—just a short drive to the beach, which made it so easy. We also appreciated the quiet neighborhood and easy access to nearby shops and restaurants.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families or groups looking for a relaxing beach escape!

My family enjoyed a great week at this large, lovely home. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and beautifully decorated. The home has everything you need for a nice beach vacation and is in excellent condition. The owners were accommodating and easy to work with.

My husband and I along with adult children rented this house for a family vacation. It was great. His brother has an ocean side house close by, so a lot of family. I was a little nervous because the house didn't have reviews, but it was just like the pictures - and very nice. Bikes and beach chairs in garage. Our landlord contact was great. We would definitely rent the house again. The location and community was ideal, grocery store nearby, also lots of bike trails, kayaking, and the community pool and tennis courts.
