Really loved it.
Great communication and help from the hosts. Very understanding and flexible. The apartment is very convenient for a family of 5 with everything new and shiny and the kitchen is very, very well equipped: normally kitchens have minimum number of plates, glasses etc but this one has spares which makes sense if you use the dishwasher. Not noisy and very typical of the area. I liked the style of how they converted an old traditional apartment(s). The old entrance door to the apartment is so typical. Brilliant shower, little balcony where you can hang your small laundry (there is a washing machine in the basement). There can be a strong smell in the building entrance which I suspect might be the heating tank but equally it means hot water as you want it.
Nothing that could be changed. There were constraints due to the location and the style of the building. The street is pedestrian, which is great, very very nice but obviously, you'll need to leave the car further, in a car park (free spaces). Not far at all though, so not really a problem. Equally, the apartment only has windows in the kitchen/dining but that's how the building is. So no window in the bedrooms or bathroom but on the plus side, it stays cool even in the hot summer months and less openings for mosquitoes to get in. Anyway, with such a beautiful small city and landscape, one wouldn't stay in the bedroom, there is so much to explore.
