Restored Historic Home 5 bedroom 4 and a Half Bath

The home was spacious and very clean. The stair case is tight but that is a minor call out. This would better be advertised as a 4 bedroom home with 2 pull out couches, which was still way more accommodating than we needed. It was hard getting a hold of staff when we locked ourselves out of the house, so note to self, do not lock the bottom locks when leaving or you will lock yourself out. Besides these few things, my friends and I had a beautiful weekend away because of this beautiful home. I'd definitely recommend it to small family groups or friends.

Upstairs guests were kinda noisy, but that had nothing to do with our accommodations.

Kitchen was well stocked with equipment. very short on wine glasses (only 4 when house fits upto 8). Nice livingroom area to hang out.

Interior spiral staircase. Difficult to use if caring things (suitcases, groceries) Single ply toilet paper just annoying.

The only plus is that it’s walking distance to most of Savannah tourist sites and restaurants. But I believe we could have found something better.

House was advertised 9 Beds, however there was only 5 with one of the beds being a pull out ottoman, one being a trundle attached to a twin bed with no sheets and I pull out sofa and day sofa bed with no leg room. Towels and linens had brown stains , so we didn’t trust them and glad we had brought our own. We paid a $200 cleaning fee but didn’t get clean. Had to wear socks to keep grit off our feet from the floors. The master bedroom was the most comfortable and the two rooms next to it. My grown sons kept injuring their knees on the very narrow spiral iron stair case that lead to the upstairs family room and kitchen.
