Toast Stays - Neville House

Very clean.

The location was perfect for what we wanted. It was about a 25 minute walk (downhill) into the city centre and the Cathedral and Castle, most of which was away from the roads. Anyone who is familiar with Durham knows that it's quite hilly, so we decided to get a taxi back to the property in preference to a long uphill walk, and it was well worth it. The property is in a very tasteful newish estate on the edge of the city and is extremely well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay.

Probably the only thing we found slightly awkward was the parking arrangements. Most people in the estate just park outside the houses, but to leave enough room for cars to pass you have to park partly on the road and partly on the footpath, which can make it difficult for pedestrians, pushchairs and wheelchairs. There was a dedicated space behind the property where we chose to park, rather than on the road/pavement, but it was quite a tight fit to manoeuvre the car into the space.

Location is nice for pleasant walks and near couple places to eat, town walkable if y9u are ok with hill.

Bit hard to find the house from back and keybox , 2nd back gate along not the 1st which is neighbour's! Townhouse so lots of stairs and living room 1st floor not ground.
