Fire and heat pump were great
One night we stayed the temperature got down to -3 degrees. The deck was all ice and very dangerous. There was no no slip ways to get out of the house. My wife fell down the stairs which was not great. All other places we stayed had non slip access.

We were not expecting luxe accomodation because the description made it clear it was a basic holiday home. We were pleasantly surprised to find a clean, spacious and comfortable home. The beds were excellent, plenty of basic provisions (no milk), loads of hot water and comfy seating. There is lots of wood if you need a fire. It’s not fancy, but it’s very good value for money and has everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Not an issue for us, but it’s a fair walk from the main town area.

House was easy to locate and was in a good area for us. All appliances etc inside were great and all worked very well including heating and plenty of hot water for showers.
The only negative was that since all wall, ceiling and roof panels were metal, when it rained - and there was some very heavy rain - it was very loud and certainly woke us all during the night.
