House in an ideal location (exceptional views of the sea and the lagoon), terraces, gardens, tastefully decorated, very quiet, pleasant, and relaxing, not far from the beaches and downtown.
The “baraquette” was a place for leisure, located on Saint Clair Hill. Workers from the port of Sète used to go there on Sundays, holidays, or during vacations—it was a place to get together with friends or family. In fact, there’s a local expression in Sète, “faire chichois en baraquette,” which means to have fun there—people would happily sing a little song or two. The little houses were always surrounded by a small flower garden.
Le Tiroulirou retains the very comfortable “baraquette” style, featuring 3 bedrooms, a veranda, 2 restrooms, and 1 bathroom with a shower (no bathtub). There are 4 terraces, including a small one called the “belvedere,” from which you can see beyond the vast blue sea to the Agde mountains and sometimes even Mount Canigou; 2 gardens provide comfort and tranquility for a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children.
As a bonus this year, there’s a charming separate studio (photos attached) with a bathroom and a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea.
In total, the rental property features 2 bathrooms with showers and toilets, plus a powder room with a small sink and toilet.
