Cozy apartment in Saas Grund.

- The apartment looks nice and it is cozy. - The booking & check-in processes are online and straightforward.

- Even though the breakfast concept (having things in your fridge already and warm stiff delivered ar your door in the morning) is interesting, I don’t think it is practical and it’s somewhat wasteful (we didn’t eat some of the stuff and would’ve liked to be able to pick up only what we needed from a normal buffet breakfast).

Great apartment and very good price-value

The apartments are very new, modern and comfortable. The kitchen has all kind of things, including fondue pot! The bathrooms were big and clean. The staff was always very helpful and responsive via WhatsApp, making our stay easier. The bus stop to go to Saas fee it's just 2 min walking from the apartments. The ski room is very accessible and big.

The apartments were even a bit too warm inside sometimes. Check out at 9 only, but if you go skiing it's a reasonable time. Only one parking spot per apartment, but the additional spots are only 10 chf more per night

Beautiful modern apartment in Saas Grund

The location was good and access to Saas Fee and the ski lift was easy by bus. The accommodation was well equipped and clean. The breakfast delivered to your room was a great idea and delicious.

We had amazing ski week in this perfect cozy apartment!

The apartment is very spacious, clean, has lots of storage which is great when going skiing with two grown ups and two teenagers. Very complete kitchen with even a fondue set and gourmet set in the apartment. Meat can be ordered from the butcher at reception! Great bathrooms, one with the most amazing shower, one with a very nice bath (especially great after skiing). Nice floor heating everywhere and really quiet (even though it was fully booked you do not hear your neighbors). Great ski lockers room with ski boot heaters in the basement, but even better: if you want to ski in Saas Fee the apartment rents out lockers for the ski depot there! Ski bus arrives every 15 min in front of the apartment.

Beautiful village and area but be prepared to pay for everything.

The appartment was very clean and well equipped with all we needed for our stay especially the kitchen. The view from the windows was also beautiful.

What we didn’t like is that there are a lot of taxes for everything which we weren’t aware of when we booked. I think tourist tax and all the others should be clearly listed on the booking. The instructions for waste disposal are not in the guest book or displayed anywhere which makes it confusing as a foreigner. Although the appartment has a double bed, it is made of two singles and the mattresses were constantly slipping as there is nothing to hold them together. The 9 am checkout was also really diffcult as you also need to clean the appartment.

Not for us! Too big! Too noisy! Nothing special given the price

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and informative.

I wouldn't consider this low end accommodation so why should we have to strip the beds and put the rubbish out! I believe this is a part of the service that we were paying for. Our unit did not really have the promised terrace facing a courtyard! It was almost in a car park and on the main thoroughfare to reception. We were woken after 22.30 by others laughing and talking outside. I wouldn't stay here again.

Just a fabulous place to stay. The whole experience wildly exceeded our expectations. The check in process was quick and easy and the whole team at the Apartment-Hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful. They contributed hugely to an exceptional customer experience. The rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished and very, very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were superbly equipped and when we did have some (minor) issues the team were able to resolve these promptly and with no fuss. There are no washing facilities in the apartment, however, there washing/drying facilities in the basement. The views from the balcony were amazing. We could park our car nearly and under cover, so it was in the hot sun. The are shops and restaurants nearby and the local cable car is just a short walk away. It's very near to the bus stop and the Saastal card that you get includes free travel on the local bus and on the Saas-Grund cable car. If I could rate this property an 11, I would. It is that good. I would happily stay there again and have no trouble in thoroughly recommending it. You won't be disappointed.

The 9.00am departure time was a bit of a struggle to meet but we were aware of this so made our preparations in good time. Apart from that, absolutely nothing.

A perfect holiday apartment , in a perfect place . I will highly recommend the place to everyone !

The location of the Montela resort was near the bus stop " unter den Berg " in Saas Grund . The friendly staff and the whole place was just amazing . Very clean and in the kitchen you have everything you need . Even cheese fondue and raclette pans , Nespresso machine ( with a few Nespresso capsules ) ,tea bags , olive oil and balsamic vinegar . The included Saastal card was very convenient .

Great location, great facilities and definitely will come again

Wow.. this is by far one of the best places in Saas-Grund. Before arrival we have been asked to check-in online and we got free access to Saas-Fee cable cars, bus, and other facilities. This was an extremely great advantage for a family of 5. The complex has 5 units next to each other, with full playground for kids, washing/drying facilities, sports facilities and most importantly a reception that is open daily from 9 - 6 PM.

My experience was really disappointing. Unfortunately, during my stay with my family, we experienced significant discomfort due to the atmospheric pressure in the area, which caused dizziness, nausea, and ear pain for our children. As a result, we had to cut our staying short and move to another area that has less high for our kids' comfort.. Given the circumstances, and since my booking was nonrefundable, I asked kindly request a refund for the reservation fees for the three days that we were unable to stay at the resort. But unfortunately they refused that and didn't understand our situation !!!

We were late from the slope and could not pick up our luggage from reception (after check in) in time for the bus back home. The manager picked up all our suitcases and took it by car Toni’s so we can catch the bus! Absolutely thankful for this gesture!

Check out time is now 9am but you have to clean the apartment partially before it. It would be better to have it at least by 11am so there is time to sleep and clean everything

The Apartment was clean, functional, spacious and as advertised. The staff were very helpful and responded to an issue rightaway. It was quiet and was in a great location. The bus stop was just 100 m away but you didn’t hear the bus. The Co-op was not far either but the bakery was also just 100 m away.

Nothing. It would have been a tiny bit more convenient if there were washing machines in the apartment but the ones in the basement were fine.

This is our second time staying here and we love it and have recommended it to others. The flats are really well equipped and the staff is very friendly.

The instructions state that check out is 9 am. However, both times we stayed at Montela we were always allowed to check out at 11 or later. A 9 am check out is not realistic in my opinion, particularly given the instructions around dealing with trash and bedding.

The apartment was amazing. Very spacious, super well equipped with all the utilities you might even wonder. Check-in was easy and went super smooth. The apartment was very close to the bus stop which takes you directly to Saas-Fee and it is only 5 minutes walking from the Saas Grund ski station. The apartment was dog friendly so we could take our dog with us and we could make long walks in the snow as just close to the apartments you can find different trails. We just had a wonderful stay. I will definitely like to come back again!
