CORSEGA - Apartment in the center of Barcelona

Emplacement idéal. Proche de tout et surtout au calme.

Des travaux étaient en cours. Impossible d’ouvrir les battants de la terrasse, donc pas trop de lumière en journée. Quand les travaux seront finis, cela sera agréable.

Het was een ruim appartement en heel schoon. Heerlijke douche, 2 toiletten wat ook heel fijn was. Er lagen pakketjes klaar met benodigdheden voor de badkamer en keuken. De bedden waren opgemaakt en er lagen handdoeken klaar. We hebben er geen gebruik van gemaakt maar er was zelfs een wasmachine. In de buurt zitten goede en gezellige restaurantjes. Wij hebben iedere dag naar de stad gewandeld maar er stopt ook een bus voor de deur.

Er was geen afwasbak of stop voor de gootsteen waardoor afwassen best lastig ging. Het serviesgoed zou wel wat aangevuld kunnen worden, er waren onvoldoende ontbijtbordjes en waterglazen, geen bierglazen. Het was fijn geweest als er een wasrek zou zijn om natte handdoeken op te kunnen hangen en kleerhangers of haakjes waar je de jassen op kunt hangen. Het zou ook fijn zijn geweest als er nog 2 comfortabele zitplekken extra waren want 1 bank voor 6 personen is wel wat krap :)

Μεγαλο ανετο διαμερισμα σε κεντρικοτατο σημειο με υπεροχη γειτονια και μαγαζια τριγυρω. Απολυτως ασφαλες σαν περιοχη. Διπλα σε ολα με τα ποδια

Φαινεται οτι ειναι ενα παλιο κτιριο της βαρκελωνης δεν φταινε οι ιδιοκτητες φυσικα για αυτο, αλλα καποιες λεπτομερειες θα μπορουσαν να ειναι καλυτερες. Καποια επιπλα θελουν αντικατασταση. Πχ περισσοτερες κρεμαστρες να κρεμαμε τα ρουχα μας, πιγκαλ για την λεκανη στο δευτερο μπανιο. Οπως ειπα λεπτομερειες ομως!

The location is great — right in the center of the city (10–15 minutes' walk to the main street) and very close to the subway.

Balcony renovation The balcony is under renovation. While this was mentioned in the listing, what was not made clear is that workers are directly outside the windows throughout the entire day, making it impossible to open the windows or curtains for fresh air or natural light. This also applies at night, as the scaffolding reaches the windows and could act as a ladder, so we had to keep everything closed — resulting in very poor air quality after just one night. Equipment The flat is in an older building, which is fine, but the equipment inside is not in good condition — particularly the AC. The compressor generates an extremely loud noise every few minutes. Combined with the balcony situation forcing us to keep the windows shut, we had no choice but to run the AC all night, which made sleeping quite difficult. Cleanliness The bed linen and duvet covers were clean, but the duvets and mattress themselves were visibly dirty and worn. The sofa is also old and has stains. Supplies The flat provided only 2 trash bags and 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom (for 2 toilets), with no dish soap in the kitchen and no detergent for the washing machine. We had to purchase everything ourselves and ended up leaving around 80% of it behind for the next guests. Other The listing states there is a safe in the flat — this was not the case.
