Barcelona Apartment Villarroel

Very spacious and clean two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in a pretty central location. We were on the fifth floor, and having an elevator was great for bringing our luggage up. The management company set us up with a digital key on our first day, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. They showed great customer service by trying to help us over the phone and then sending someone in person to bring us card keys. A big thank you to the gentleman who came and gave us the keys, as well as some additional information about the apartment. He was very kind and made us feel very welcome. Beds were comfortable and the bath towels were huge :) There were no paper towels or tissues, but they provided these great little welcome packages with everything we needed for our two-night stay. One included a sponge, towel, dish soap, garbage bag, etc., while the other had coffee, tea, sugar, and even tiny bottles of olive oil and vinegar. 😊 Such a thoughtful touch!

The property is located in a very cozy neighborhood of Barcelona. Just across the street, there is a local market, although it was closed when we arrived on Saturday evening. The apartment was very spacious, with two large bedrooms, each furnished with two twin beds. The bed linen was exceptionally clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Each bedroom also had a huge wardrobe with plenty of space to store clothes. The living room had a sofa bed, which we extended for my niece to sleep on. The kitchen was well equipped with an oven, stovetop, and refrigerator, and the hosts provided complimentary instant coffee and tea. The neighborhood felt safe in the evenings, and we enjoyed walking around. There were plenty of cafés and excellent restaurants nearby. To collect the keys, you need to go to a reception office located a few streets away from the apartment. The reception is open until 10:00 PM. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend this property.

The location was amazing! Beautiful location and close to the subway system just a few minutes walk. It was very spacious and so nice to have air conditioning and a washer.

One of the sinks in a bathroom was always backed up.

I believed I had booked a 2 bed apt but was given 1 bed apt. Did not suit my family at all.
