The cabin has everything need to spend a great week on High Lake. It was easy to live in for the week.

Location was lovely. Bathrooms and bedrooms clean. The listing says it includes bunkhouse, but it doesn’t. The dishes were dirty when we arrived. Overall though, good place and we would stay there again.

There are a few maintenance issues that need to happen in this house. Once they are resolved this place will be great! There was a bug hatch while we were there and the screens have two large of mesh opening. The bugs flooded into the house and covered surfaces with more than 1000 of them. They were attracted by light so you couldn’t have any lights on. Also, after you turned off the lights they would be landing on your face in your arms for About a half an hour after the lights were off. We eventually turned off all the lights and walked around in the dark. All they need to do is change the size of the mesh in the screens and seal up the gaps around the screens and this will be sorted. That being said… This place is beautiful! Great place for a family and we highly recommend the pontoon rental that they suggest! Fishing with Steller! Kitchen was huge as well as living room. You can swim from the dock and also catch an unbelievable number of fish.Just fix that screen issue and this place is 100%! If you plan on bunking above the garage and it’s going to be hot, bring your own window air conditioner. There is very little air movement through the area.
