About this house rental
Good Cheer Cottage is located in North Bridgton, Maine, sited directly on Long Lake with 200' of lake frontage. This charming 100+ year old cottage was completely updated in 2019 with all the amenities you want for your summer vacation on the water. At the end of the day, the fabulous front porch will beckon you for hours of games, conversation, and cold beverages.
Anchored by a stone fireplace, the Austrian inspired wood paneled main rooms are open concept and comfortable with plenty of seating. The dining room has a table for 6 persons and the living room has a sofa, two rocking chairs, a lounge chair and a large built in window seat.
Good Cheer has 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds and 1 king bed. There is 1 bath on the first floor with a new subway tiled shower and a half bath on the second floor. The new kitchen is fully applianced and outfitted. Other amenities include wireless internet; air conditioning; gas grill; use of canoe; fire pit; washer and dryer; TV with streaming through Chromecast. The waterfront has a dock with boat tie-up and a small sandy bottomed swimming area, perfect young children.

We absolutely LOVED it!! The cottage has so much character and charm, the AC was KEY, the porch amazing!! So easy to tie up our boat and jet skis - super close to public launch. GREAT restaurants in area. Loved being able to wake up early and get the great still water for skiing and wakeboarding. The hosts of Good Cheer were absolutely AMAZING, HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, GENEROUS, and super fast responders!! I would HIGHLY recommend this cottage! GREAT FAMILY VACATION!! (We were lucky to have GORGEOUS summer weather!!)

We had a wonderful stay. Property, amenities, location were fantastic. There was nothing more that we could have possibly asked for and then some. We loved the house, the location and we spent so much time on the porch enjoying the views and relaxing. Can't wait to return!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at the Good Cheer cabin! It was quiet, the property was very nicely maintained, and the peaceful location on the lake was just what we needed.
We cooked a lot during our week long trip and the kitchen had everything we needed.
Kath was truly a pleasure to communicate with and she was very responsive. We experienced a couple of minor issues with an alarm battery and water occurred and she was right on it. Highly recommend and will come again!

Lots of charm at Good Cheer! Lovely spot on the lake. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch, watching the chipmunks play in the beautiful backyard. Easy to cook in the well-appointed kitchen. A/C was much appreciated on the mid-90s days.
Kath was always quick to respond from the moment we booked. Had a small issue with a window at the start of our stay and she had someone over to fix it immediately.
Overall, we had a great week!!! Thank you!
