My name is Franca and I am the owner of Agriturismo il Corniolo. The Agriturismo has existed since 2003, it was my family s farmhouse and an 1800 barn. We renovated it in 7 delicious apartments, a common lounge area and a swimming pool. I live in the countryside since I was a child, I love green and ample spaces, our fresh, clean air, the silence and the sounds of nature. I love working en plein air , thanks to the many outdoor activities involved in running an Agriturismo. I have a great passion for jams, prepared with our 100% organic fruit. Among the traditional flavors we prepare our jams with: red and white raspberries, strawberries, apricots, peaches, plums, figs and blackberries. I love experimenting new and particular flavours too, like: pears and walnuts, prunes and ginger, peach and mint, figs and walnuts, pumpkin and oranges, kiwi and hawthorn flowers. My other great passion is cooking: I love preparing excellent breakfasts with sourdough bread, cakes and pastries, all homemade. For me it s a unique experience to know so many people from all over the world, tie new relationships and share experiences and life stories.

At the entrance of our property there is a public bus stop which hourly leads into the center of Perugia, from Monday to Saturday. However we recommend to have/rent a car to ensure complete freedom of movement. From the center of Perugia and the main station there are several trains or buses to reach the most interesting towns of Umbria. It is also possible to call a taxi or rent a car.
