Westwind - Haus 1

Schöne, helle Wohnung. Komfortable Badezimmer. Gute Lage

Schön renoviertes Häuschen in lokalem Baustil, ordentlich eingerichtet, modern, auch die Bäder, Küche ganz gut ausgestattet. Außenanlagen an sich ganz schön angelegt.

Keine Reaktion auf Reklamationen per Telefonat und Email innerhalb von 5 Tagen (kaputter Esszimmer-Stuhl wurde nicht repariert, keine Rückmeldung bezüglich fehlendem Schlüssel für abschließbare Fenstertüre im Schlafzimmer im EG, direktes Lüften daher nicht möglich). Garten ungepflegt (Unkraut, Rasen seit Wochen nicht gemäht, Gartenmöbel sichtlich seit längerem nicht geputzt). Sauna-Vorraum nicht geputzt (auch nicht nach Auszug der Feriengäste aus der anderen Doppelhaushälfe). Dafür soll das Haus vor der Abreise besenrein hinterlassen werden, die Betten abgezogen und die schmutzige Bettwäsche samt den benutzten Handtüchern in einem Kissenbezug gesammelt werden… so etwas kenne ich bisher nur aus Jugendherbergen. Da passen die Ansprüche nicht zusammen…

Grundsätzlich ist die Unterkunft gut ausgestattet und der Weg bis zum Strand ist in Ordnung. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls in der Nähe.

Die Sauberkeit war nicht so optimal. Wenn das Sofa verrückt wurde kamen einen Flusen entgegen. Am Esstisch war an der Seite noch Schokocreme der Vorbenutzer. Spinnweben an der Decke.

This was our second time here - the amount of beds fit perfectly for our family. The house is nice, in local archi style, there are 3 bedrooms w 5 beds, living room, wonderful dining room and a large kitchen; there is also an outside seating connected to the other part of the house (westwind 2). Location is good enough, not too close to the beach but not too far either (15mins walk), close to the centre of prerow, close to the supermarket and bike rentals. You can find most of what you need in the kitchen.

Just like last year, the staff speaks no English:) I guess it is not too surprising considering that the guests are rarely from abroad. However, it sometimes gets a bit tough when trying to solve some issues. Our bed was not made upon arrival - fortunately, we found some spare sheets in the wardrobe, so it was fine. Both bathrooms only have two rolls of toilet paper - I remember this was an issue last year already. We decided to buy our own, I guess there is room service that could be called in also to change the towels, but it was easier than struggling with the language barrier. Maybe it could be solved with leaving more than just two rolls, especially for longer stays? At times there were problems with wifi and the TV wouldnt connect in the rooms upstairs, but it was not a major issue. However, the overall impression was still good and we will be coming back if possible. :)
