Unforgettable experience

It was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The host and crew (Jared, Roko, and the captain Josip), were incredibly kind, attentive, and full of positive energy. We took one day trip and was stunning. We had the chance to meet wonderful guests along the way. Really recomended.

For some guests, the size of the room and shared bathroom facilities might be a bit of a challenge (understandably, since this is a charming old wooden boat!). That said, for us, it wasn’t a big deal, it added authenticity and made the experience even more memorable.

Overpriced shoebox, it’s not worth it

Jared and staff were great. Location very central and the day trip was lovely.

Room had no cooling, airflow or ventilation. It was essentially a shoe box. Two people can’t fit in the room at the same time, unless one is laying in the bed. You can get cheaper whole apartments in the old town. I would not recommend this to anyone over 5 foot tall.

Perfect way to enjoy the croatian sea.

The good vibe, beautiful ship, good chef and extremely friendly staff. Jolly Captain who really knows the sea around so he will take you to best spots.

Sometimes rooms with ensuite toilet get hot and humid, you need to keep toilet door shut and room door open all night

A must-try boat life experience in a cute croatian city!

The overall experience to live on a boat for few days, the day trips were amazing and so worth it to enjoy the seaside at its fullest and also that anyone was so nice and friendly and i have made really unexpected and meaningful connections with both young and older people!! It is an experience to try once in your life! Yes it is a bit tight cause its a boat and not an actual hostel but it is part of the charme! The day trips were also very nice and totally worth it! (i took two and i heard others even did 3 days in a row with it!) They take you to a different little city for a short stay then while they serve a sandwich and beer they take you to a small semi-hidden bay and we all enjoyed the amazing water, the snorkeling and SUPs and even more jumping into the water from the boat too!! The location as well to be few meters from the airport bus stop and basically in the city center but with the vibe of being in the port is also a great thing overall! *Big plus was the amazing draft beer they had on board, i recommend very much to try it!!

The bunk beds were a tad too tight for me (i was on the top one and the ceiling felt so close to me that i suffer a bit the small spaces) but you kinda get used to it with the time but at the beginning it was a bit of a challenge, but i saw it as challenging myself out of a fear/comfort zone :) The hostel has a policy against bringing food on board as they have a kitchen that serves food, at first i was a bit skeptical about it but i think it refers more to bringing actual take-aways or whole meals, cause for small snacks i never really heard complains and honestly when i go on holiday i often go eat out so i really didn´t have a problem with it, but its worth mention it!

Location was the best, the facilites are good; considering it's a boat.

Reception personell wasn't permanently there, so in case of needing something I had to wait. However, they were friendly and helpful.

An amazing experience and I highly recommend when in Zadar!

To stay on a boat was one amazing experience I really enjoyed it! Host Phil was lovely. We opted to stay at the top deck, there’s a bunk bed, small wardrobe and a sink. Bare in mind that this is a boat so expect that the space will be small but the room has got the essentials. The toilet and shower/toilet is clean and there’s enough of it. There’s a bar/restaurant area and the top deck to enjoy the view and chill. The next morning, the boat took us to a nearby island for a stroll and a private beach for a swim/dive, lunch and a drink included for 35 euros for guest is not bad at all and I highly recommend it! We stayed for 2 nights and that was perfect.

If you don’t like small spaces then this is not for you but you’ll miss out on an amazing experience.

A great experience in a boat in the heart of Zadar harbour

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic and the boat trips were an added bonus! It was peaceful, despite other guests nearby!

The boat was a little rocky in the night due to a storm, but the crew dealt with this and it felt stable again!

The best location for easy-going & open-minded people

Unusual experience for easy-going people who making fun and open minded. There was a nice time to stay on the boat really. Cool, nice and very helpful staff, clean common places, great location Infront of the Old City. My bad was quite comfortable, my new friend Johanna from London is adorable person, WiFi was quite well. I gonna come here once more with my son's. The ship has a truly wonderful atmosphere for communication different people from all over the world

Wonder boat

Amazing experience, to have fun meeting people around every corner of the world! The staff was excellent, available to satisfy your needs but more important in the right mood to let you enjoy your stay. Also the Italian chef on the boat makes special courses. Definitely the best way to enjoy Zadar!

I had an incredible stay and the location couldn't have been better (boat is located near one of main entrances to the old town). The staff was super friendly and fun to be around, creating a warm and welcoming environment that truly enhanced my stay. Also the day trip was a definite highlight – a must-do for anyone staying here.

Even though it's a small room for the facilities and the bedroom, its a very cozy and nice place to stay at beceause the people are very nice. Because it's small you get to know the staff and the other travellers. I think it's one of the most unique and best stays i've ever visited!

The shower is above the toilet and there are only two bathrooms (so two toilets and two showers above the toilet). There is no way to shower without making a huge mess and there is no way to use the toilet without wippibg everything first

Even though they were just filling in, the staff were incredible - kind, knowledgable and friendly. The day trip was fantastic - relaxed and enjoyable definitely a different vibe than the big boats that spend 9 hours going out to Koronati (skip those and double up on day trips with this crew). Ok for two nights…

Was not what I booked…different boat! No warning about change.. ie no food facility at all… air con limited.. cabin clean but dated. Boat needs some TLC has so much More potential.. Staff we’re non existent really.. and the atmosphere was very tense between staff I understand exceptional circumstances but not a pleasant atmosphere to be in. Glad I made plans most days .

Fun trip cool to stay on boat

Location was really good, right in the center of old town. Plenty of shops and places to eat. We went on the swim trip that they offer and it was so fun we rented a paddle board at the first stop for an hour and swam at the second stop. I wish there were more than two stops since we were at the second stop for a while then went back. The staff were all very friendly and had plenty of recommendations for places to eat. They were also very accommodating, they let us check in early.

Not a complaint but for those booking it is a boat so space is limited, rooms are small so is the bathrooms but they are clean

The rooms are extremely small, the boat departs everyday for a boat trip from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and it does cost 45€/pax. If you get sea sick, you might have a rough time.

The boat is great for 1 or 2 nights, it is located in the center of Zadar and it accessible.

The boat is located in the center of Zadar, which saves you time looking around. Also near by is the ferry that can take you to another island in case you planned that, also the bus station is very close to the location, thing which makes the staying very accessible. The host was extremely nice and friendly. Also they offer trip with the same boat in neighbourhood beaches.

Chill and different

Nice friendly staff and very chill athmosphere! It was a new interesting experience to get to stay on a boat. Facilities were good for a boat and we really enjoyed the sun deck. Location right at old town and next to a bus stop is great.

The air in the room gets easily bad (the rooms are very tiny as one can expect), having them freshened up as much as possible makes it much better. Some place to dry towels etc would be a plus.

The concept is brilliant, an affordable floating Hostel in the perfect spot for discovering all the best of Zadar, The reality is a brilliant affordable on board experience with a great vibe, great staff and exactly where you want to be... book book book!!! will definitely be back, Zadar is exceptionally beautiful on so many levels, and the Hostel is such a unique experience and the day trip was amazing too... 10/10 guys...thank you

It was really fun to stay on the boat and there was a lot of freedom to come and go. I would definitely recommend going on the cruise if you have time, it's well worth the money and was really fun. Perfect to stay for a couple of days right near the old town of Zadar.

Unique Hostel

Great and unique hostel experience. Sleeping in a boat was defenitely a highlight of our trip. The hostel is in a very convenient location close to the old town as well as the ferries to the Telašcica and Kornati national park. The rooms were clean and equipped with a sink and a small wardrobe. The host is great, very welcoming and gives good advice where to go in and around Zadar. He also saved us when we were late for our bus and had no Kunas for a taxi left. Thanks again! Would stay here again any time I come back to Zadar.

A fun experience all round-couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We had so much fun during our stay at the floating hostel. Phil was welcoming and accomodating, giving us advice on where to go/what to do etc. We loved the idea of staying on a boat and the cabins were all you need! We also went on the day trip to an island/swimming spot which was a real highlight of our Europe trip.

Mattresses were a bit springy - otherwise all was fab!
