Different than anywhere we ever stayed before ;-)

Special, quaint/spooky place in the woods nearby Ahrweiler. Very friendly owner. We had the place to ourselves the first night. Our room was bit small but we were able to use the kitchen downstairs and the Wintergarten to sit in the evenings.

Nice cozy place nestled up a hill/ mountain side, surrounded by forrest... wonderful location. A little hot on the top floor but cooled down quickly once the sun set.. thanks for the stay

Nice, we would like to come back.

Area. The house is surrounded by huge trees. You hear nothing but lots and lots of birds. In the evening fireflies will come and visit you. They say that you can even spot deer, unfortunately we did'nt. Kitchenette was well equipped. We did'nt see the staff/owner much, wich make you experience a certain feeling of additional privacy. Nevertheless the owner was very attentive and helpfull. The rosé wine was very nice 👍👍

It would have been very nice if the balcony was a wee little bit wider. But nevertheless ... it is a trifle.

Great option to stay in the Ahr Valley away from the crowds and right in the forest. There is even a restaurant very close by, so you dont need to worry that you'll need to drive for dinner and not able to enjoy the wine. :) There is a sauna and a winter garden if you come in the cold months.

Für Wanderfreunde gut geeignet

Wir hatten 2 Ferienwohnungen auf 2 Etagen mit jeweils einem Bad. Das Haus steht im Wald und für Wanderfreunde ideal. Wir wurden freundlich von einer Dame empfangen und der PKW konnte unweit vom Haus geparkt werden. Wir waren wegen des Weihnachtsmarktes hier, der uns sehr gefallen hat.

Der Weg zu Fuß in die City war etwas weit aber wenn man Zeit und gut zu Fuß ist kein Problem. In unserer Ferienwohnung war keine Verdunkelung am Dachfenster. Das fanden wir nicht so lustig und konnten nicht einschlafen. Der Bewegungsmelder ging öfters an und dann war das Zimmer noch heller.

Prima verblijf afhankelijk van je mede gasten

Mooie locatie. Vriendelijk onthaald door de eigenaar. Prima appartement. Klein oventje, 2 elektrische pitjes voor kleine pannen. Geen opscheplepel of schaar, dus het is wel handig die zelf mee te nemen als je die nodig denkt te hebben met koken. Ook staat er zout peper etc (en meel van 7 maanden over datum wat we weg hebben gegooid) Leuk stadje dichtbij met veel voorzieningen, mooie wandelroutes in de buurt. We hebben elektrische mountainbikes gehuurd om in het bike park te fietsen, dat vonden we zelf ook wel een aanrader voor de sportieveling.

Erg gehorig. Je hoort iedereen lopen. Ook waren de andere gasten erg luidruchtig. Ze waren aan het kletsen tot diep in de nacht. Ook stond er een tv een nacht heel hard aan tot 5 uur s nachts. Het wc bleef maar doorspoelen, maar werd wel half gemaakt na een klacht. Het stopcontact zat niet goed gemonteerd waardoor er een steekvlam uit de stekker kwam. Gelukkig kon ik het gordijn weg trekken waar al een zwarte plek op zat. De sauna deed het niet en was al een tijdje kapot. Eigenaar gaf aan dat je het kon proberen maar dat de stoppen er dan uit konden vliegen. Gasten hadden het idee om om 3 uur s nachts met veel lawaai in de sauna te gaan. Het hele huis zat daardoor zonder stroom. Door de onrust hebben wij lichtknoppen geprobeerd waardoor om 8 uur s ochtends toen de stroom werd hersteld onze hele kamer verlicht werd. Het was een korte nacht. Vooral de Kids vonden het erg jammer dat de wifi het niet deed. Voor mijzelf was dat niet echt een probleem.

Ideal zum Wandern und zur Entspannung.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Schöne, ruhige Lage in einem Waldstück und nah am Rotweinwanderweg. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und es gibt eine Sauna. Der Eindruck war sehr positiv.

Sehr freundlicher Service, tolles Angebot zur Nutzung Wintergarten, Terrasse, Sauna, Kaminzimmer. Uns gefiel auch die Lage: Wanderwege ab dem Haus einfach erschließbar.

Super Lage und prima Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder

Wir waren mit 7 Frauen Wandern. Die Lage war perfekt. Die Appartements waren modern eingerichtet, sauber und hatten ganz neue Badezimmer. Wir hätten die Großküche, Grill, Sauna oder Terrassen-Ofen nutzen können, was sich für uns bei einer Übernachtung leider nicht gelohnt hat. Wir saßen abends im Wintergarten, wo man auch mit größerer Gruppe ausreichend Platz hatte. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.

Die Treppe zum Doppelbett im obersten Appartement ist sehr schmal, glatt und ohne Geländer, weswegen wir knobeln mussten, wer dort oben schläft (und nachts nicht dort herunterklettern braucht). Hier konnte man auch die Fenster nicht verdunkeln. Im größeren Appartement war das kein Problem ;-)
