Hyde Ibiza Beach Resort by Accor

The cove is beautiful and there are great places to eat in walkable distance. All of the hotel staff is lovely, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean.

I recommend a rental car to get around the island. We had a car but guest were waiting 30 minutes or more on the weekend to go out in the evening. Cabs are not readily available and have to be called.

Nice and clean. Trendy. Great location.

Check in took forever

The facilities are fantastic- free yoga, Pilates and amazing pools and djs.

The hotel is directly accessible to a stunning beach, with alternative sundews around three beautiful pools.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has a really stunning location. Being set in a cove away from the main party areas of Ibiza was one of the main reasons we chose Hyde, and the views and surroundings really are lovely. The hotel is modern, stylish and has a great aesthetic, which is definitely reflected in the photos online. Our room was also modern and nicely designed, and there are some lovely areas around the hotel to relax and enjoy the views.

Unfortunately, for the price we paid, there were quite a few things that let the hotel down. Our first night was extremely noisy due to a beach concert, with music continuing until around 1am, and the air conditioning in our room was very poor, making it difficult to sleep. When we complained, it took around two hours for maintenance to come. The lifts were frequently not working properly, with only two lifts for such a large hotel, and reception often had long queues despite plenty of staff being around. Breakfast felt extremely chaotic and overcrowded, with less food available later in the morning, and we experienced a few occasions where staff were not particularly helpful. The additional €170 charge for the luxury pool and cabanas also felt excessive when we had already paid around €1,000 for three nights, while the other pools did not have enough loungers. We were also surprised by the additional service charges and the requirement to pay a deposit despite having already paid for our stay. Overall, we had very high expectations after seeing the hotel online, but unfortunately the experience did not match the price, and I would not return.
