A charming 1820's farmhouse

Beyond our wildest dreams! The kitchen had everything from a chef’s array of pots & pans to a charming honey jar and honey dipper. Hallmark should film their next Christmas movie at this beautiful home.

Carmen is the most gracious host and made everything absolutely perfect for us. We were four couples celebrating milestone birthdays and could have not chosen a more beautiful place. It is truly the nicest home we’ve ever stayed in and would highly recommend it! The home is beautifully decorated and so nice that each room has en-suite bathrooms. We even got fresh eggs from the chickens for omelets. I hope we get to go back someday, i wish everyone could experience this beautiful experience.

Beautiful home. It was a good location for my family to attend a family wedding at the Woodstock Inn.

This property was perfect for our group of adult women. Five bedrooms with comfortable beds and their own private bathrooms meant we could all escape from each other when needed, and no one was waiting on anyone else to shower when we were trying to get out of the house. The fireplace was lovely and the couch and chairs were perfectly comfortable -- we enjoyed the throw blankets so much we are buying our own. The place was also decorated for fall/thanksgiving which was a really nice touch. As a group of fairly antisocial people, we enjoyed having all of the perks of a B&B without having to talk to strangers. Carmen was very communicative when we needed anything, but also left us to do our own thing. We could hardly tell she was there in an attached apartment. The location was also perfect -- removed enough from town to be quiet but close enough to drop in for dinner and shopping. We loved the view of the river across the street.If we find ourselves in Woodstock again, we will definitely return!
