A cozy cottage nestled in graceful nature, located on a traditional farmstead at the end of a farm road. History is presented in a unique way and you are welcome to use the outbuildings belonging to the farm. For example, there is an old stable that has been transformed into a great restaurant and lounge called "Valhalla", where you can get local dishes or the home-caught fish or meat from the hunt served on the spot. The owner knows everything about hunting and fishing in this area and will be happy to give you tips. The farm has hunting license for elk, deer and roe deer and this exclusive hunting experience is offered by the owner to hunters for a fee. From the cottage you have panoramic views over the forest, mountains and river. 100 m from the cottage a popular salmon river flows through the property, where you can catch salmon and sea trout during the fishing season from June to August; the owner sells fishing licenses. Also the salmon rivers Namsen and the Ågårdselva flow not far from the house. Here you can sit on the sofa and with a little luck see moose, deer and roe deer. There are a number of marked hiking trails in the area, some of which lead high up to the mountain peaks, which are worth a visit for the fabulous views alone. Part of the cottage property is on a nature reserve, 2-300 meters from the house is a beautiful waterfall. The house owner also rents a boat, which is located at Sør-Namsenfjorden, about 3 minutes by car. With this vacation home you get a unique nature experience and a landlord who cares a lot about giving you a perfect vacation. Pick-up from the airport can also be arranged. Also popular is the area around Flatanger with many activities. Especially climbers have discovered Flatanger for themselves and there are also eagle safaris.
