About this house rental

Within 25 acres of privately-owned property, our barndominium sits within a short walk or drive to the beautiful Llano River. Guests can enjoy 1000 feet of private river access with a large lake area, rapids, and gentle riffles, making this a great refuge for tubers, kayakers/canoers, fly fishers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Our barn's comfortable front porch is also a wonderful place to enjoy bird watching while listening to the quiet babble of the Llano River. The front yard also provides beautiful views of the Texas Hill Country, and a perfect spot for viewing the night time sky.

The Barndominium provides the following accommodations:
sleeps 8 with two bedrooms and each has a private bath and walk in shower
bedroom 1 has a king sized bed with twin bunks (wheelchair friendly)
bedroom 2 has a queen sized bed with twin bunks
central heat and air
the living area is open with full kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher), utensils, cookware and coffee pot
small tv with dvd only and small library
charcoal grill and campfire pit
large front porch with picnic table and outdoor seating

Overall enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property. Would’ve liked it to be easier access to water, The large rocks made it challenging for older less agile person. Nice cabins. Everything great except the barndominium had an odd smell at times. Might’ve been from garage not sure. Otherwise very clean and nice. Wish we would’ve had more time. It was relaxing.

The place is just awesome. get ready to just relax everyone was so kind if your going to junction tx that a must stay place. I can go on forever the view the river just amazing. I hope someday to return to do more kayaking

This property is one of the most beautiful spots on the Llano river. We brought our kayaks but the river was up so were unable to float this weekend but there were plenty of sights to keep up busy. Watching the deer, turkey and livestock, hiking, and rock hunting filled the day. Thank you to our hosts that always make sure the cabin is ready for guests. Will certainly return one day and I know it won't be soon enough for me.

Not our first time here. The place is still great and kept up well. Enjoyed the river mostly. Wife and I relaxed while the kids fished. They caught a largemouth bass, several guadalupe bass, several rio grande cichlids, and a longear. Everyone was happy!

Went for the solar eclipse, the river, and the dark skies. Excellent accommodations and beautiful view! Night sky was excellent! Very comfortable house and porch. Good place to relax and enjoy.

Everything there was amazing. Llano river swims were great. Barn cabin was very nice and clean. Very peaceful and secluded. Saw deer every day. Will be booking again.

This place was awesome. Just as described! Plenty of space for 5 people and 2 big dogs. Gorgeous views, easy river access. Stars were amazing at night. Had a nice bird feeder and bird bath so we saw lots of birds, including a thirsty roadrunner. Would love to stay here again! Only wish was for a hummingbird feeder, next time will bring one! Great place to set up the telescope and star watch.

This place is amazing! The views are great, the river frontage is spectacular, and the night skies are fantastic! I loved the opportunity to disconnect as there is no internet and it gave us a great opportunity to get some real family time without devices. There are lots of trails to explore, and deer greeted us every morning. The host was great and very responsive when anything came up (THANK YOU!) I am not sure who enjoyed this stay more...me, my wife, my boys, my in-laws, or my dog (she couldn't get to the river fast enough) LOL! We are definitely planning to return. This place is well deserving of 5 stars overall. The only improvement I could suggest is to dust the fans but being this remote...I would expect to have some dust here and there. All and all...this has been our best retreat to the Hill Country area so far!

As expected, it was a little far from things which interest the kids. However, the view was great, as was the overall experience. The cabin was clean and all necessary items were provided. We had regular vists from 3 foxes and one dark grey cat. Drove around some in late evening to see the deer although we saw a few down at the feeder in front of house. The road almost directly across from the driveway, which goes to Mason, had the most spectacular animals (Whietail deer and Axis deer) behind high fences.

This is one of the best properties I have stayed at in this whole area. Great river access. Great view from the cabin. Abundant wildlife, beautiful area. We were able to go to several different areas for short 1-4 hours of kayak runs on the river. Was just a great long weekend for group of adventurous friends. Loved it.

This was my families 4th time here. This rental is a breath of fresh air. The home was clean, well stocked and roomy. We never saw the kids (4, 10, 13) as they were too busy exploring outside or swimming. It was a perfect time to visit as it wasn't miserable hot outside but still warm enough to swim! We love how there is a deeper section of the river to swim and small rapids to float down. My 4 year old couldn't get enough exploring and jumping on the rocks. Beds were comfortable air conditioning works great and the views are mesmerizing! Can't wait to come back!!

This was a WONDERFUL place. We are a family of 6, grandma, mom and dad and 3 pre-teens and we all had so much fun. If you love the out-of-doors, this is the place to be. Even in December kids played in the water and we did some kayaking and lots of hiking. The barndaminium was spacious, clean and had everything you would need for cooking. We already plan to go back in the summer for more of the water activities.
