About this house rental
Escape to my spacious two-story home with over 1,800 square feet. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views in a peaceful country setting located near the Great Sand Dunes National Park and just minutes from downtown.
My property offers a paved driveway with parking for multiple vehicles, as well as plenty of space for RV and trailer parking.
My home offers two roomy comfortable living rooms, one on the main floor and one upstairs giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and unwind.
The main floor includes a spacious primary master suite, an attached bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower, handheld showerhead, and heat lamp for added comfort. You'll also find a convenient laundry room with a washer and dryer.
The kitchen is an open-concept, fully equipped for preparing meals. The large dining table is perfect for family dinners, game nights, or gathering with friends.
Upstairs, you'll find two additional king bedrooms, a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination and handheld showerhead, and a cozy second living room with a smart TV.
A dedicated workspace is also located upstairs, complete with a desk and computer screen. The desk can double as a makeup vanity with a lighted magnifying mirror.
All three bedrooms feature comfortable king-size beds and smart TVs, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the Great Sand Dunes National Park.
Step outside to enjoy the covered front porch, or relax in the private fenced outdoor area featuring a propane grill, outdoor dining table with umbrella, and comfortable seating—perfect for grilling, dining, or simply enjoying the fresh Colorado air.

We had a wonderful time staying in this super sweet home. It was very clean, which is top on my priority list. The home felt very welcoming as soon as you drive in. The cute white picket fence that lights up at night is great. The interior is comfortable, inviting and well maintained. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and check-out was a breeze. Karen, the host, was very nice. She was quick to respond with any questions we had from the beginning of our booking. This is a great place to stay!

Such a great place to stay & Karen was wonderful!! So kind and accommodating, really appreciated her communication style. The only down sides were that the coffee machine didn’t work (it was very sluggish and wasn’t able to brew a whole pot) so we had to plan around that, and the water/ice machine in the fridge needs to be cleaned (the spout) and the filter changed (it beeped every time we used it). Easy things to work around though, and it was such a large & beautiful space to share with several friends. We hosted a game night on the kitchen table and it really was perfect!! Thanks for making this trip great Karen!

The host was quick to respond and there if we needed anything. House was clean and fully stocked kitchen. No need to bring extras like other rentals. Will definitely stay here again. Best in Alamosa

The check in process needs to be updated on her site. First off, the property has 2 entrances, A and B, but she doesn't tell you which you are in. Second, there is NO lock box on the door, just a regular key. Third, there was NO key in the porch lock box, and we couldn't reach the owner to access the house. We called VRBO to ask for help and they couldn't reach the owner either. VRBO said they would refund our money, but we had a group of 6 and it was evening and everything was booked.... so very frustrating. Finally the owner came back and we were able to get into the house.Also, the barn door for one of the bedrooms upstairs fell off it's rails and nearly landed on our 81 yr old friend. VEry scary; however, the owners friends was very nice and took away heavy door and hung a curtain up so she had some privacy. Probably wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, although it was clean.
