The Red Rooster Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests so your group of family and friends will have plenty of space to enjoy their holiday in their own rooms and be able to come together in the open plan living area.

Away from the hustle and bustle of busier mountain towns, this is a true getaway if you are looking for the unique peace and quiet of rural New Zealand. But when you need to pick up supplies, National Park is only an 8-minute drive away, where you can take your pick from the local cafe's, bars or local shops.

If you're planning a mountain getaway in winter, Whakapapa ski field is less than 30-minutes drive away, so for days spent up on the mountain in the snow, you'll be ideally located.
