Wonderful cottage in stunning location.
A very cosy and well equipped cottage with stunning views over Rosedale and a spectacular approach from the moors via Chimney banks. The cottage is situated centrally in the North York Moors National Park and therefore an ideal place from where to explore the National Park. Despite its central location it is very peaceful and quiet. The cottage itself is furnished very tastefully and makes you feel at home at once.

Good value for money – would be better if there was no smell of drains
Fantastic location in a lovely village with views over the north YorkMoors. Two good pubs nearby. The accommodation was slightly dated in parts and the main double bedroom was quite small but it offered very good value for money.
There was a smell of drains which prevailed for much of the time we were staying at the property. This was accompanied by a very serious sewage smell which came along every couple of hours and persisted for between 10 and 20 minutes. This was particularly problematic at night when the bedroom window was open and the smell was entering the bedroom. This has been discussed with the owners who have said that they will investigate and deal with it.

Comfortable cottage, stunning views
We had a wonderful stay at this charming rural cottage. The location is perfect – peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive from all the main tourist attractions. The newly fitted kitchen was a great bonus, well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. And the views... absolutely stunning! Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Cute little cottage with stunning views
Cute little cottage with all the amenities & stunning views. Great location. Lots of lovely walks around the area. Pub 2 mins walk & village (with another pub) very close by. Despite the hill, it was a relatively doable walk even for me with an arthritic knee.
