Rosedale Cottage

Great contact with the owners from start to finish. Clear guidance to find the property/parking. The cottage had everything you could need. Very comfy bed and nice quality bedding. Liked having a shower cubicle. We also appreciated that inside the cottage was cooler than the oppressive heat outside and imagine it gets very cosy in the winter. Perfect location, short walk to the village shop (which has a cafe) and a cafe with a good choice of food items and excellent homemade cakes. A slightly longer walk takes gets you to the pub. Good location for visiting North York Moors and the coast. A lovely cottage which has great facilities and easy access to local amenities.

Cottage in fantastic location in the heart of Moors. Great walks from door. Very helpful hosts. Property tastefully furnished with well equipped kitchen. Own garden is great bonus especially when traveling with children. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

Rosedale Abbey is a beautiful village and this cottage is well suited to its surroundings, we have used this as base to travel to the coast most days, you can take a fabulous drive over the Moors to Whitby in around 30 minutes or enjoy the peace and quiet of Rosedale. The cottage itself is a lot bigger than we first thought, offering plenty of space for our family of 5 and would easily take a 6th. Its clean and everything seems to have been thought of when it comes to eating in. Beds are super comfortable and the darkness and silence of Rosedale will give you a great night's sleep. We throughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back.
