Comfortable and clean house in great location. The kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor grill was clean and ready to use. The host was really helpful and left welcome snacks, chocolate and wine!

We chose Niantic for our long weekend getaway. Thank you to our host! The house was clean and well equipped. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the supplies provided in the house which included household cleaning items, some toiletries, coffee, waters, numerous pantry items and a bottle of wine!We made use of the ample beach supplies which included plenty of towels, a beach blanket, a beach tote bag, a wagon, a beach umbrella and ice chests (ice bricks in the freezer) there were regular umbrellas available, too.The weather allowed us to enjoy time on the back porch where we watched chipmunks and bunnies running around in the back yard.The house was a quick easy drive to the Black Point Market, Book Barn, Rocky Neck State Park and restaurants. We didn’t walk to the local beach so I can’t comment on that, since we went to Rocky Neck instead.Thank you to our host for the restaurant recommendations, too!We were able to check-in earlier and stay later than the advertised times which was very much appreciated.

My fiancé and I rented this property for a month-long escape from NYC during the pandemic. I was a little skeptical due to the lack of existing reviews-- fortunately, my worries proved to be entirely unwarranted. I could not have asked for a more wonderful property or rental experience!The property was exactly as pictured: newly furnished, immaculately clean and in pristine condition. You can tell that the owners take great pride in their ownership and hosting. There were all sorts of thoughtful touches (they left us fresh flowers!) and the place was very nicely stocked to meet our needs. Things have been lacking in other places we have rented (for example, dish soap, sponges, garbage bags, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, hand soap, etc.) were all taken care of here.The beds were very comfortable—I was so happy to find a rental with a King bed, when so many places only have Queen options. The second room has two single beds and was perfect for hosting the several friends who joined us in shifts during our stay. There were plenty of linens and towels, and the laundry machines are new and clean.I was working full-time during our stay and was thrilled with the quality of the internet service. I spent whole days on video-chat, and never encountered any issue with the internet speed on either the main floor or the lower level.The outdoor space in the back was great, and the owners have put up a nice privacy screen so that the desk feels very private and isn’t visible to the neighbors. On that note, the neighbors all seemed lovely and were very friendly. It really is a charming little area.The proper was equipped with every beach need you could imagine. Chairs, umbrella, towels, coolers, toys, etc. It is walking distance to the beach. And the outdoor grill and bistro table on property are great for entertaining.My final note is to commend the owners for being so wonderful to us. They reached out several times to make sure our needs were fulfilled. They warned us of upcoming inclement weather. They even told us when to hit the local farmers market and recommended the best things to buy (check out the crab dip!).I have no complaints at all and highly recommend this rental.
