Ulivi di Puglia - Luxury Villa

Har inte direkt något att klaga på, allt va toppen. Dom få minus som fanns skulle i så fall vara att det va aningen fuktigt ute i trullon och att det saknades ett bord till utomhus soffgruppen. Vi kom sent på kvällen/natten och det va svårt att hitta. Be att få en exakt pin till boendet.

Pool. Shaded sitting area. Outside kitchen. Sun beds. Security. Lights. Beds.

No bins or soap in the bathroom. Pillows. No tea towels or oven gloves.

We loved the traditional style of the villa yet it was modern with new appliances and heating/A/C etc. The security was excellent and we felt very safe and comfortable during our two week stay. We also appreciated that the minor issues we had during our stay were dealt with very promptly by the owners representative. We loved the area as a base to explore Puglia.

Suggestions for future - it would have been nice to have basic condiments left in the kitchen such as salt and pepper etc, cleaning products etc. Also, we were only given one bath towel each, and with no clothes drier, we weren't able to easily wash and dry the towels. We ended up using the heating in the villa to help dry towels and laundry as the weather was quite cold and damp during our first week. Also, no pool towels were provided. The trulli (no windows) was quite damp and cold and even though there was a bar heater, my son felt two weeks staying in there was too much. Being 6 foot 5 inches, it was a height challenge, however the rooming configuration meant I needed to be staying with my 80 year old grandmother in the main villa. Noise from the neighbouring house was an issue with their dog continually barking and a party one night which went on till 3am.

Away from it all. Lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds and house.
