Studio Rio Unique space with garden and garage

I love everything about this place…… What’s not to like! This place is great, 2 min walk to the train stop & 15 min by train to Patra Town centre with its shops, cafes bars & restaurants….. and lovely nearby beaches. A short walk past the beautiful Rio Bridge, catch the ferry for free by foot or €7 to cross by car to Antirio. Then a short walk from the ferry to a beautiful Sandy beach, sit at the beach bar/cafe & enjoy your day.

There’s nothing not to like about this property, tastefully decorated in a modern & contemporary style, with great facilities throughout.

Studio Rio was exactly as in the photos on Bookings. It was modern, clean, comfortable & met our expectations. The hosts were easy to communicate with & always helpful, easy access to the local shops, nearby beach and also 2 mins walk to the train with access to Patras Town centre in just 15 min by train.

The en-suite shower room steamed up very quickly after a shower & the floor became very slippery quickly, especially for the children even with the floor towel. This was due to lack of ventilation from the high windows which were out of reach and unable to be opened. Not a big problem, but just something to be aware of with young children. The oven also didn’t work properly as needed to have the timer on to work and after approximately 1 hour would switch off, this was explained by the hosts as a safety feature but did not help when trying to cook a roast dinner as we had to keep checking the oven & adjusting the timer for longer to finish cooking.
