Tennessee Treasure #232

The views were gorgeous. The cabin was nice and cozy. The parking was right at the steps and a grill was just next to that. We got to see a bear! The extra lift was super cool and the giant windows of the cabin were amazing. And the furniture was a perfect fit for the cabin. There was air hockey and pool and all things needed for a fun night.

There was nowhere conveniently to really walk a dog. The pool table was a bit beat up and the air hockey was kinda more hockey than air. Some things weren’t included, such as coffee, coffee filters, creamers, etc. The mattresses were too soft. It felt almost like you sunk to the floor when laying down on them. We had to call multiple times for certain niche things like pool stick chalk, batteries for the remotes, and to see if someone could fix one of the Xfinity receivers.

The view from the bottom and top balcony were stunning. The pool table was fun to use from time to time. The hot tub was very relaxing. The cabin overall was fairly clean and had a home like feel too it.

Upon arrival I opened the fridge to place some drinks inside and then opened the freezer to obtain some ice. Inside the freezer was a Pepsi can that had exploded all over the freezer. The toilet on the main floor was not working upon arrival either. I called maintenance and they were quick to come and fix it that same day, but after the maintenance person left the cabin the toilet was bot working again. I had to call for maintenance again the next morning because it was too late in the day at that point. Maintenance came out again and fixed the toilet and then left, but once again the toilet was still not operational. My girlfriend and I had to fix the toilet ourselves and then it worked for the rest of our stay. I will say the staff that I spoke with on the phone were very nice and wanted to resolve our issue as fast as possible, but the maintenance personnel was obviously ill equipped in knowing how to properly fix a toilet.

the only dislike was the down stairs shower door came off the hinges while I was showering.
