Not worth the money for the place, and the rules are not clear at the time of booking.

It’s located in a nice area, near the bus station.

Since this is a shared space in an apartment unit, the rules weren’t clearly mentioned in the booking.com Only after the free cancellation period was over, the rules were sent over in the message. The bed was not actually a doubt bed but it’s a sofa bed. The difference is the comfort level. The rules were very strict and we were not comfortable with the stay at all. The rule was not to use the toilet flush in the night as the sound might disturb the host. We had to leave a bit early in the morning, around 6, but the host was not supportive to have shower in the morning. I had a dry throat and was coughing a few times, and the host immediately texted and asked if I was ill as it’s contagious. The work chairs were so old and not comfortable to sit. The modem was noisy in the night. I’m ok with all the rules the host want to put unless it’s mentioned at the time of booking and not towards the start of the trip. Paying 20-30 more would give us more peace in a private space which wasn’t there here.

Considering you will stay with the landlord is ok if you like extra quiet. Good communication with the landlord. The room is ok however the bed is not so comfortable ( sofa ). Around 10 minutes with bus 22 until place of interes. Price for the room was a factor way I chose this property.

Not recommended room

Room was OK but bed not comfortable because it not proper bed , it was sofa come bed which give different sound when you turn

Too much instructions regarding toileting , where we can't flush and take a shower in the late evening, which i didn't like because we went for vacations and you don't have any idea trains and buses you can be late and if you want to explore the city you have to wake up early morning, it am not satisfied because we went there for enjoy not in the prison to stay where you cannot do according to your will ,

Close to the city, you share the apartment with the owner. It was comfortable for a couple days.

The location was very close to the city center. It was a decent walk to get to Salzburg Oldtown, but it was a beautiful walk. The apartment room was small, but very clean and was good for a couple days.

The host had some particularities of how the stay would be which made it hard to feel like we could relax sometimes.

I had a truly fantastic stay here! The apartment offered a very comfortable place to relax, and the bathroom was conveniently set up and clean. The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. A huge bonus was the amazing mountain view right next to the property. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Host was available to wash and dry clothes for us which we were grateful for and was largely friendly. Room and shower room were clean. Nice location with city easily walkable.

Flat was cluttered, and many facilities described weren't really available. Asked not to flush toilet during the night and not to lock shower room door! No lock on our room, so had to carry all valuables/documents all week. Came in to our room on last day while on the phone and asked when we were leaving; we gave time (which was the agreed checking out time) and she replied, " Good" then left. She probably didn't mean to be rude but that's how it came across.

ideal location to explore all that Salzburg has to offer.

Franziska was so helpful with all our needs. we were able to share all facilities in the large apartment, including washing machine and kitchen. the location was perfect for our needs with public transport close to the apartment, and 2km to the town centre. also free private parking available on site.

Das geht gar nicht

Die Umgebung ist nett

Man wird hier mit Misstrauen, Bevormundung und Kontrolle konfrontiert. Im Vorfeld gibt es Anweisungen wie zB. (bei minus 10Grad Außentemperatur) 3x am Tag für 10 Minuten lüften, schon vor der Dusche den Ventilator einschalten (damit man sich gut verkühlen kann) etc. Das Zimmer liegt quasi mitten in der Wohnung der Inhaberin und das Gäste-WC mit Dusche (Badezimmer wäre übertrieben) liegt genau gegenüber dem Schlafzimmer der Inhaberin. Das sg. „Bett“ ist eine Ausziehcouch mit einer buckelpistenartigen Liegefläche. Außerdem sind im Gästezimmer 2 W-LAN-Geräte deponiert. Es lohnt sich, sehr gut darüber nachzudenken, ob man wirklich so untergebracht werden möchte. Während man in der Dusche ist, nutzt die Gastgeberin mitunter die Chance in das nicht von außen absperrbare Gästezimmer zu gehen. Antwort auf den Kommentar der Vermieterin: Auch, wenn der Ventilator eine übliche bauliche Maßnahme ist, bedeutet das nicht automatisch, dass er während des Duschvorganges laufen muss. Zur Temperatur: sobald man Luft in Bewegung setzt, kühlt sie ab. Das beschreibt u.A. auch das Gesetz der Energie-Erhaltung aus der Physik und man kann dieses Phänomen sehr deutlich auf nasser Haut spüren. Zum Betreten des Gästezimmers in Abwesenheit des Gastes: Ein technisches Problem mit WLan ist kein absoluter Notfall, sodass man ruhig abwarten könnte, bis der Gast die Dusche wieder verlassen hat und im Einvernehmen das Gästezimmer betreten. Alles Andere ist eine Grenzüberschreitung. Mit Kontrolle war gemeint, dass Sie bei offener Wohnküchentür, die zu anderen Zeiten immer geschlossen zu sein scheint, abwarten, ob Sie die Betätigung der Dusche hören…. Zur Couch/zum Bett: In der Beschreibung ist wohl angegeben, dass es sich um eine Couch handelt, wogegen nichts einzuwenden ist. Nicht angegeben ist allerdings die QUALITÄT der Liegefläche, die sehr zu wünschen übrig lässt. Das war der Kritikpunkt diesbezüglich. Man sollte also wohl auch alle Bewertungen vor einer Buchung genau lesen.

Schlechteste Zimmer seit ich über Booking.com gebucht habe

Außer Lage des Hauses und der kostenlose Parkplatz war das Zimmer ohne Kommentar, wir wurden Angewiesen während der Nacht die WC-Spülung nicht zu betätigen, wir konnten auch das Zimmer nicht abschließen

Maravillosa estancia.

La habitación con calefacción y aisla muy bien el ruido, baño de uso personal, el centro de Salzburgo se encuentra a menos de 30 minutos caminando por lo que no nos fue necesario usar transporte público ni gastar en taxi. Y por último la buena disposición de la anfitriona, muy amable al responder nuestras dudas y tiene un muy buen nivel de español, por lo que no fue necesario comunicarnos en otro idioma.

Nosotras acostumbramos a usar el baño de noche y madrugada, por lo que fue un poco incómodo no poder tirar la cadena de noche. Fuera de eso, todo perfecto.
