The Cottage is in a lovely location, perfect to use as a base for doing activities and visiting the local landmarks. It is such a cosy and comfortable retreat to come home to after a busy day. All facilities are spot on and beautifully presented. We were unable to use the garden, but imagine it would add tremendously to the enjoyment of a stay with the barbecue and fire pit. Definitely 5* from my nephew and I. He loved the log fire! The Cottage is also extremely reasonably priced.

Nicely decorated, kitchen good. Great to have Netflix
Hot water temperamental, ok washing your teeth, washing up in the kitchen. But shower even on the lowest pressure only Luke warm.
Small bedroom bed only fit for a child

2 great pubs with good food within walking distance
A half used toilet roll was all that was provided and no replacements anywhere so we ran out.
No kindling provided for the log burner and it was needed as it never got warm in the cottage.
The sofa bed mattress is appalling, it felt like lying on a bed of rocks with paper over the top.
Lots of road noise.
