Large countryside home

We enjoyed a wonderful stay here as a group of 8, with 4 adults and 4 children. The cottage is spacious and welcoming, with plenty of comfy spaces to sit. We loved the bright British themed decor, which runs through the house. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful, and made it clear we could easily contact them for any assistance we needed. There were information leaflets etc left out for local attractions which was helpful. They also put out a fantastic abundance of breakfast items - from a large range of cereals and fruit, to bread, pancakes, jam, milk, butter - everything we could possibly need. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a large fridge freezer which was ideal for us. The kids were absolutely delighted to discover the table football also had pool and table tennis and there was a real dart board to have a go at, as well as numerous board games and card games. They loved the outside area, with sofas and a giant connect four, and another highlight was the pretty light features coming on when it was dark. We enjoyed it so much that we are thinking of coming again next year, perhaps for a little longer. Would certainly recommend to anyone, especially families.

Great little house perfectly furnished with cute decor Kid and pet friendly. The kitchen was stocked with essentials (except pepper) Location is quite close to Durham and Richmond

Just one bathroom. Having an additional half-bath even would have helped a lot. Not having a dryer was a little weird Location is well away from the moors and seemed like the middle of nowhere at night when we arrived

Nice set up for providing breakfast, basket with goodies, fridge full of milk yogurts etc. Plenty of towels for use.

Wallpaper was quite scary on bedrooms, especially in space with single beds, kids put off sleeping in there, prob needs be more neutral. Over abundance of union Jack paraphernalia. WiFi didn't work and heating had issues, fortunately was reasonable weather. No access.to.outdoors (aware before went). Beds weren't comfiest and very noisy
