About this house rental
We want to welcome you to our wonderful Northwoods getaway on beautiful Keyes Lake, which is perfect to swim, fish, waterski, or just float on...it is truly a special place. We have 4 bedrooms plus a loft and 3 1/2 bathrooms in our 3350 sq. ft. home that comfortably sleeps 12. Keyes lake is a gorgeous 200 acre lake with a depth of 74 feet. Fish found in Keyes Lake include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water clarity is very clear. If you would like to bring your own boat or rent a boat, there is a public boat landing. This is a quiet lake with full recreational opportunities including boating, jet skiing, kayaking, and fishing. We have lots of outdoor opportunities for fun with plenty of seating for everyone. We have a great patio overlooking the lake with lounge chairs, bocce ball court, and a retractable awning. We also have a floating dock to hang out on just off shore. We also have 4 kayaks to paddle around on the lake. You will love the fire pit by the lake side with a wooden bench to sit on and a covered area for your firewood. You will enjoy the wonderful views from the entire lakeside of the house basically full of floor to ceiling windows. Our house has all the comforts of home with a kitchen that has hickory cabinets and granite countertops. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you should need to cook a gourmet meal. We also have a selection of spices and cooking oil along with starter garbage bags, paper towels, etc.
This a great entertaining house with an indoor sauna, pool table, dart board, and lots of board games for the family to play at night. We have a workout area with an elliptical, a rowing machine, and dumbbells.
There is plenty to do nearby, also. There are numerous supper clubs nearby, Maxsells, Tavern on Main, Richard's of Dunbar, and Annie's Trading Post, which is on the lake, just to name a few. Florence is only 8 minutes away if you need groceries or alcohol and the larger town of Iron Mountain is only 25 minutes away if you need other items found at the local shops, Walmart, or Home Depot.
You can enjoy outdoor sports throughout the year with snowmobile and ATV trail access trails on our road in front of our home. You will definitely check all your boxes for a wonderful stay up north at our home. SORRY WE DON'T ALLOW ANY PETS.

The house was very nice. Plenty of space for the amount of people we had staying there. Definitely have to keep an eye on little ones as there is a drop off down to the lake in some spots, but plenty of area where there are steps to get down. Kitchen amenities were plentiful and useful. Beautiful sunrises each morning. Peaceful environment. We didn’t talk to any neighbors, but any of them that we saw on our walks seemed friendly and waved to us. Very pleased overall and definitely would recommend this property to others.

This rental home on Keyes Lake in Florence, Wisconsin is exceptional! The living rooms and bedrooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. We visited in fall and enjoyed warming up by the wood burning fireplace with the soft throws that were provided. The master bathroom with its walk-in shower, tiled floor and fixtures was luxurious. The lower level sauna was another special feature of this home. The kitchen tools, cookware, bakeware, paper products and spices were extensive and of the best quality. As an Italian cook, I was impressed. The views were exceptional as well - waking up in the morning to fog rolling over the lake was breath taking. The property is private and close to restaurants and hiking. The neighbors we met while hiking were friendly and shared local information with us.Shannette, the owner, answered all my texts/emails before and during our stay in a timely and polite manner. My family hopes to rent this home again and would highly recommend it to other guests.
