Responsive host - rustic vintage feel to the apartment- not in a nice way - tired uncomfortable bed and old blankets.

Location was good - nice view

Furnishings were old and very well used. Pictures were better than reality. There was a musty smell. Rotting wood above doors. Old thread bare towels. No soap. There was noise between apartment- we coupled clearly here couples exercising on the squeaky bed. No money has been put into this place for many many years. I would not recommend- very expensive for what it was

Loved staying here even with the bathroom issue. Felt homely and comfortable.

We liked the location, the view, cleanliness and amenities provided. It was very comfortable living here although we only spent the nights here while we were out touring during the day. The bus service was excellent to get to Amalfi town. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. The pizzeria down the road makes excellent pizza. Lots of restaurants in close proximity to the square and the apartment.

The only issue we had was with the bathroom in the master bedroom. No shower curtain and the shower head is badly placed over the bath tub making the place wet and messy. We ended up using the shower cubicle downstairs which was so much better. If this problem is sorted out, it would be a perfect place to stay.

Nice size apartment with amazing views!

Location is lovely. Views are amongst the best in Amalfi area. Ravello is alot more quiet than Amalfi and it was nice walking around the small town. Host was very helpful with any questions. He also arranged transfers to airport. Apartment is two levels and is beautful. Has laundry for washing and kitchen dining room etc for cooking and eating. Bus stop to amalfi is just a 6 minute walk. Overall good quality apartment with a nice quiet location.

Casa Chiarina is a perfect honeymoon destination. Absolutely wonderful

Casa Chiarina was a dream vacation property. We spent our honeymoon there and couldn't have wished for a better experience. Perfect choice, ticked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations. The host was always responsive when needed and supported us to make this a flawless holiday. The view is to die for and the location is ideal. The apartment was perfectly clean and spacious with a lovely balcony. In the midst of the old town of Ravello just a minute from a wonderful local supermarket around the corner which was perfect for our supplies to try some of the cooking school recipes with fresh produce. Having experienced the flood of tourists in Amalfi we truly appreciated the peaceful ambience while just a short bus ride from the action in Amalfi. From there we took the boat to Positano and Capri and travelled by bus & train to Pompeii. It was an unforgettable holiday - Casa Chiarina is a real gem and highly recommended!

We didn't want to leave and would have loved to stay longer.

The view was absolutely spectacular! Casa Chiarina is located in close proximity to the beautiful town square but offers incredible sea views which can be enjoyed from the balcony ! Gino the host was so helpful with pre arrival information . We loved our stay in Ravello ! Thank you !

Was a good stay very clean and easy.

Check in was easy. Very prompt with communication and was able to check in early which was awesome. Was clean and had a washing machine which was handy. It was beautiful views.

Needs basic cutlery, a fridge and a kettle. Not enough bathroom supplies for longer then a day. Bed wasn’t the best.

Great stay at Ravello

Easy communication with Gino, who is always available. If you are driving follow his instructions as the arrival by car is different from the booking address that has access from a pedestrian piazza. Best for us was to sit enjoying the outstanding view, having some wine with cheese. And yes, driving the Amalfi Coast is priceless.

A million dollar view at a very reasonable price.

This apartment has a balcony overlooking the trademark Ravello view, car parking, stylish appointments, all necessary facilities and, unusually for Ravello, an easy flat walk to the Piazza del Duomo. Gino, the host, is super helpful and responsive.

Although overlooking the road, it was surprisingly quiet at night and, during the day, provided a fascinating vision of authentic Ravello life.

The most perfect Italian experience of Ravello and the Amalfi coast, we recommend to anyone on there travels here

We would recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy a quiet and authentic Italian town on the Amalfi coast. The host Gino could not do enough for us from organizing transfers to booking the best places for dinner and advising us on any questions we had. Amalfi and Positano towns were a good distance from the flat but they were full of busy tourists so it was perfect staying nearby in Ravello.

Absolutely to-die-for view, beautiful furnishings, cozy bed, lovely balcony, and complete kitchen. We made limonata from the local lemons left for us! Gino was super helpful and gracious and made us a last minute dinner reservation when we needed it. Can’t recommend this place enough and hope I go back one day!

The location is super! Ravello is absolutely the best place on the amalfi coast to live. Nice people, great restaurants, and not as expensive as amalfi and Positano. Gino is the most perfect host. He is sweet and helps you with everything you need.

It was a great stay - but the bed is pretty hard. It could really use a top madras. Especially if you are used to sleeping on a more soft madras. Also there is a road just outside the windows:balcony where there is pretty much noice from cars and other vehicles at all hours. So it can be useful with earplugs. We didn’t know this and want to give the info to the next guests as it is important for the sleep. But it is a very nice place and we do not regret to book it!

Incredible little apartment with excellent service!

Beautiful view, quiet area but still close to the center of town with a grocery nearby, lots of space and everything you would need in an apartment, comfy bed and pillows, good internet/wifi, large ironing board and iron, washing machine and clothes hanger, cute decor, little snacks, juice, milk, coffee, oil etc. The host checked in on us over WhatsApp regularly to make sure we were happy and taken care of :)

Everything was wonderful! If you’re visiting during the summer/high-season, take note that it’ll be very hot (over 100 degrees Fahrenheit on some days!) and the only usable AC unit is in the bedroom. So you’ll sleep very well! And besides, you probably won’t be in the apartment during the middle of the day anyhow (you’ll be at the beach, touring the Almafi coast, or at a nearby hotel pool).
