Penthouse Apartment Universal

The perfect home from home in the heart of Paphos. 5 mins drive/20 mins walk from the harbour/mall. Pambis restaurant/pub with live music and 2 small supermarkets right outside the apartment. Great peaceful location. Good parking, immaculate apartment block with lift and extremely clean communal pool/pool areas. The apartment is on the top floor with a smidge of a sea view, where you can see the fireworks from the sunset cruises and across Paphos. The apartment itself is a true home from home. The owners have everything you could possibly need (including the best washing machine I’ve ever used)… lovely spacious open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with smart tv, 2 patio doors to a good sized balcony over the pool, 2 double bedrooms (one with twin beds) great wardrobe space, good air con. You can tell the owners take pride in this little gem of an apartment. It was a pleasure to be able to stay and myself and my family look forward to coming back again on our next visit. Communication with the owner was top class. I had to ask a few questions and everything was answered swiftly and very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here as a family with two kids (8 and 12) for 5 nights, and I can honestly say this is one of the best apartments we’ve ever stayed in – and we’ve stayed in quite a few. From the moment we arrived, the place felt very welcoming, bright and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out (and something I’ve never seen anywhere else) was the attention to small practical details – there were multiple power adapters for EU plugs, charging stations, cables, even wireless charging. It may sound small, but it makes a huge difference in real life. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Everything worked exactly as it should – which, surprisingly, is not always the case when traveling. The bathroom in particular deserves a mention: no issues at all, everything functional and comfortable, which is something we’ve struggled with in many other places. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, and the internet connection was excellent – I even had to work remotely via RDP and it was perfectly stable. There are air conditioners in every room, which worked great for heating during our stay (and I assume just as well for cooling in summer). The balcony overlooking the inner courtyard and the pool is a really nice bonus, with a partial sea view as well. The area itself is quiet and residential, which we actually preferred. At the same time, there’s a well-stocked local shop about 100 meters away, a busy takeaway spot next to it, and even a more upscale restaurant nearby. The host was extremely responsive and helpful, providing clear and detailed information and making the whole stay smooth and stress-free. The interior is practical, tasteful and comfortable – not overly “designed” or complicated, just done right so you can actually relax and enjoy your stay. Overall, this place sets a very high standard. We would definitely stay here again.

If I had to mention something minor, the interior doors are quite light and can make noise if closed without care, but this seems to be common in many places in Cyprus.

This is a super comfortable apartment, it has everything one needs and for a very great stay. The area is very quiet and the bed super comfortable. There’s a lovely shower . Very easy parking. We didn’t use the pool as it was too cold ( February) but I’m sure when it’s hot it’s lovely.

Apartment was very well positioned and close to facilities. Beds were super comfy which was very important for our 3 week stay. The kitchen had every utensil you could possibly think of. Host George was very helpful and quick to reply to our messages. The pool area was very peaceful and most of the time had the pool to ourselves. I would highly recommend this apartment
