Chesterton Cottage

Cute little cottage with double room, kitchen and bathroom down stairs and chalet living room upstairs with additional sofa bed .Neat and clean little galley style kitchen that had everything we needed. Has small garden area Good location to visit local attractions and the Lancaster Museum opposite. Red Lion pub just on corner serves excellent beer and food. The owner was really friendly and helpful

To be fair the property is on the A155 so there is some road noise during the day but we were not there to sit in the garden all day! By evening it is really quiet and we got a good nights sleep

Location

Parking a tight squeeze.

The cottage is well apointed and very comfortable. We liked the layout of the property, it's perfect for a short or long term break. There's a nice front garden with several seating areas and a fish pond in a boat. We would stay here again.

No complaints everything was perfect for our needs.

Location was perfect for what I needed and the cottage was nice and secluded although falling cherry blossom got everywhere :0) Property is very well equipped and very modern. Local shop and pub with 2-3 minutes walking distance.

It's called a cottage and that comes with some expectations, the bathroom however was really badly laid out for someone who is 6 foot 2 having a shower my head was actually touching the ceiling. Not much I think can ne done about this but just piece of information for anyone taller than 6 foot 2. There is a outlying edge with protective rubber and signs to watch your head which I was but again just not ideal.
