I think that the property requires a good facelift. It is looking old and tired as if no one cares very much
It just requires some attention to detail. A chopping board would be great. A foot towel in the bathroom. The rugs on the floor need an upgrade. The curtains on the windows need attention. Etc etc. But it is a good apartment.

While we were not given the apartment in the picture (we were “upgraded” to an apartment that had a bedroom), the new apartment was spacious and had a balcony that looked into the courtyard, which was nice on a sunny morning. Location was great, and the building’s distinct turrets made it easy to find from blocks away. Access to rooftop patio was also nice. Check in procedure sounded a bit convoluted, but was plenty easy.
The only bathroom was accessible through the bedroom, which reduced the privacy given by the bedroom. I am 6’1”, and having the bed wedged between two walls (head and foot) made for a snug fit. While the new apartment was fine, it was a bit weird to be given a different apartment than what was booked.

Great location. Cheaper than a hotel for the area. Large unit. Lots of TV channels. Good security.
The linens on the bed had a strong odour (not a laundry soap smell) that made me question when they were washed. Couldn't access the balcony. Took extra steps to get the key. You're expected to take out the garbage at the end of the stay. The bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom, so anyone sleeping on the sofa bed can interrupt the people sleeping in the bedroom.
