Beachfront Apartment @ Morleenpark unit 11

Excellent location, lovely stay. Highly recommend.

Great position overlooking the sea, wonderful sunset views. We could easily walk to the shops, restaurants and beaches. Secure parking

Only 1 set of keys which was a little inconvenient. Window repair needed and we had to wait in to allow entrance. No lock on bathroom door or shower curtain Some crockery chipped

Drying machine leaked water, no shower curtain for bath tub, some window latches were broken, small ants everywhere. Windows were dirty.

I was greatful that the very friendly reception team was willing and able to relocate us, when we realized that the flat was on the 2nd floor with lots of stairs. We thus never stayed at Morleenpark

I was extremly disappointed that we got a unit on the 2nd floor. For me it would have been a challenge to climb the stairs and for my husband completely impossible. We were moved to Strand str no 8, a much smaller place with limited seaview. The front gate at Strand street, to the road, was impossible to close and lock. We specifically requested a lock-up garage and at Strand street we had to leave our vehicle in the street, where even the security warned us to remove everything. The fridges needed defrosting, freezing unit was frozen-up to such extend that it was almost impossible to get anything in there. The house did smell musty, but the receptionist said they currently do nto rent it out due to the damp, and that is why she could move us. Burned a lot candles, which helped.
