Apmetāmies šajā vietā jau otro reizi. Saimnieki joprojām ļoti viesmīlīgi, brokastis un vakariņas joprojām gardas (īpaši kartupeļu pankūkas). Ja vēlaties pavadīt dažas dienas tuvu dabai, un pamosties no gaiļa dziesmas, tad šī ir īstā vieta.

Brokastis bija lieliskas. Tagad mājās gatavoju brokastīs olu iekšpus rupjmaizes šķēles. Saimnieks rūpīgi uzraudzīja vai visi ir apmierināti, piedāvāja papildus pagatavot. Ļoti jauki!

The hotel is run by two fantastic hosts, Nora and Vladimir. We really loved their personal approach and felt very welcomed from the first minute. Nora's cooking was great, with extremely tasty local vegetables (and some from the manor garden) and excellent ribs, we even had fish that Vladimir caught from Daugava. The manor has its own beer and brandy, which you should taste. If you feel sporty, kayaking in Daugava is also available. The manor is overall a relaxing place where you can just let the time go.

The grounds of the manor would maybe need a bit more help than the hosts are able to keep up with, although around the house it looked very pretty with lots of flowers. Also if you are afraid of bugs, a walk around the pond or a swim is not for you in the middle of summer. We went to nearby Kraslava for a swim in the lake.
